Description:

A white-glazed bottle vase was nicely mold with narrow neck and was applied on the shoulder with two loops.
Motifs of plum flowers and leaves were well shaped and squeezed to the sides.
The glaze was in milky white tint and was suffused with crack lines.
It was in perfect condition despite the abrasions were happened to the edges.

Date: Five-Dynasties, 907-960.

This very personable squirrel broach is cast in 18Kt yellow gold with a ruby eye. The squirrel is holding a diamond that represents an acorn. The differently finished surfaces make this pin very life like. The pin is 1” high and ¾” wide.

This wonderfully executed butterfly broach is made of 18Kt yellow gold with yellow white and black enamel and green see through enamel (plique-a-jour). The butterfly eyes are natural rubies and the wings are movable. It is marked Spain 18Kt. The height of the pin is 1” and the wingspan is 1 ½”.

Porcelain covered by white glaze to the foot and decorated with full carved floral on the interior ; unglazed base. PERIOD : Song Dynasty (960–1279 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 22 cm wide. CONDITION: Excellent, no chips, cracks, hairlines and free from restorations.

We have here 7 very thick, hand chased silver medallions weighing 81 grams heavy. The balls are open backed repousse. I know when you see the back of this piece it is very old with work marks and feels like a piece of history in the hands. The hallmark is worn but you can read 980 MEXICO. It has a wearable length of 18in. The center piece is 2 1/8th inches long and 1.75in. at it's widest point. The other medallions are 1.75in. long and 1in. at the widest point...

Not a very prolific taller, ProSa is nevertheless a name that I look for and try to get their pieces for my inventory whenever possible. These diamond and pearl cluster earrings date back to the late Victorian era. The center pearls on each earring are surrounded by eight old miner cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.65 Ct. The 4.5 mm pearls seem to be natural pearls, but were not x-rayed.

In the shape of an Oni mask with inlaid metal eyes and remains of polychromy. H. 9 cm. Excellent condition, age crack in the chin, very nice age wear and patina. Provenance: Collection of Hendrik Jan Karsten (1817-1908), a Dutch politician. There is a name label at the back of the netsuke. Very striking piece, comes with a museum quality stand.

In mint condition, only light age wear to the decoration. Diameter 24,5 cm, H. 13 cm.
