Porcelain decorated with qillin blue underglaze on the center two phoenix on the exterior, glazed base. PERIOD : late Ming (1566-1643 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 19 cm wide. CONDITION: two frittings to the rim and recent redecorate for polychrome color. Good sound when tapping with finger tips.

Blue & White bowl with unusual mark on the base, decorated with medallion of flowers. Late Ming 16th century. Diameter: 11.5 cm and high: 6.1 cm. Condition is perfect except flake chip to foot rim.

A rare celadon jar, finely potted in globular form and with flute sides body, three handles attached to the neck and the shoulder decorated incised surrounded by lotus petals motif. Covered overall with bluish green glaze till the foot, the base unglazed. Sawankhalok ware 15th-16th century. Condition is perfect except one firing imperfection to the body (visible on the last enlargement 12), no any chips and no crack, free from restoration as well...

A rare b/w miniature circular box, with fluted sides body and decorated on the top with a white on blue such like a Pig, because actually this kind decoration motif always with a Hare. Late Ming 16th-17th century. Condition is perfect except a light hairline to the top center. Diameter: 5 cm.

Blue and White Dish with flower on vase decoration on the interior, glazed base. PERIOD : Early Ming (1400-1487 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 19 cm wide. CONDITION: firing faults, no chips, cracks, hairlines or restorations.

Decorated with a qilin in the center and floral scroll in the exterior. W=19 cm. Early Ming 1368-1398. Condition :Fault firing and chip to the foot but free from restorations.

 

An original state of Ming dynasty 17th century Swatow type polychrome box, decorated on the top with a bird and floral pattern, continuous flower scroll to bottom side. Condition re-touched to a chip, but it's rare to found such like it piece still in original state enamel after buried very long times. Diameter: 8 cm.

Shishi prance across the mottled Kiri-wood surface of this Momoyama to early Edo period Koro in gold and silver maki-e and mother of pearl inlay. A copper insert contains the fragrant incense ash. There is a hand forged iron staple top and bottom of one ancient crack testament to age. It likely once had a silver hoya (cover) which has disappeared over the centuries...

Blue & White plate, decorated with three Crane among Lotus pond on the central and surrounded by scroll pattern and a border of Ju'i lappet. Ming dynasty 16th century, Jiajing period. Condition: tiny chips, no crack and restored, good condition overall. Diameter: 19 cm.

 

Rare LARGE Burmese 14th - 15th Century Monochrome Glazed Stoneware Dish (Ex. Lammers Collection)

This extremely rare large and imposing stoneware dish was made during the 14th - 15th century. It is heavily-potted and coated in a finely-crackled cream glaze. The unglazed base has fired to a deep red where there are signs that this dish was placed on a large circular pontil during firing. To the inner well of the dish are incised circular bands...

A good shaped of b/w small cup with thinly potted, decorated with two lions playing coin ball among scroll pattern. Middle Ming dynasty Jiajing ware. Condition is good excepted a tiny chip to foot rim and very minor to mouth rim, no crack and free from restoration. Diameter: 7cm and High: 4.5cm.

Description:
A Longquan bowl was mold in a uniquely hollowed form.
Double decked with hollowed body, the bowl was left with a hole underneath from where the obvious firing-red tint was yielded at the body clay .
Heavily potted and applied with light greenish glaze, the bowl was spread with fine crackles on the surface. It was caused due to long time of age when enduring old adhesives were accumulated in the crack lines...

Description: A white jade piece was carved from one fine Houtien pebble. In a beautiful figure of a phoenix holding a lotus bud on its beak from the hanging ribbons, the holy fowl was resting on a lotus leaf with radiated veins. Having been done in an exquisite craftsmanship, this jade piece owned all the characteristics of a traditional jade piece would have- especially on the esthetics...
