Thai 13th - 15th Century Sawankhalok Stoneware Covered Box

This covered stoneware box was made during the 13th - 15th centuries at the Sawankhalok kilns. It is elaborately decorated in underglaze blue with a ring of yellowish-brown glaze around the moulded top of the cover that is in the form of picked fruit. Diameter 9.75 cm, height 8 cm. There are a couple of fine hairline cracks to the edge of the cover and minor chips to the edge of the box...

Six lobed jar with something like four lugs covered by brownish celadon to the foot with brown spotted; unglazed base . PERIOD : Song Dynasty 960-1279 AD. MEASUREMENTS: 7 cm wide, 6 cm hight. CONDITION: no chips, cracks, hairlines and free from restorations.

Qingbai ewer with moulded phoenix decoration; bluish white glaze stopping above the base which is concave and unglazed. Yuan Dynasty 13th-14th Centuries. Height = 10 cm, Width=12 cm. Condition : handle restored, other original yuan lid.

Porcelain covered by pale green celadon glaze with flower decoration on the center, unglazed ring and lotus petal on the cavetto and exterior. Unglazed greyish base, Song Dynasty Diameter 12 cm Perfect condition, no chips, cracks, hairlines and free from restoration.

 

 

Yuan Jar shaped eight lobbed with two lugs . Decorated by iron brownish spots . Flat and unglazed base. Height = 5.5 cm Yuan dynasty 14th century. Condition : good with hole on the base and minor frits.

A late Yuan - Early Ming (Hongwu) period blue and white bowl, rounded side with slightly flared mouth rim and unglazed base, bowl decorated with under glaze blue of flower scroll motif.
Bowl is in good condition, no chip, no crack, no restoration, crackled glaze at the surface, semi porcelain.
Size: 14 cm diameter.

Decorated with incised petals on the center and floral scroll on the rim. Unglaze base with 'chicken heart'. Yuan Dynasty Widht = 15 cm Condition : 2 cm glaze hairline, no chips, cracks and free from restorations.

Porcelain covered by celadon glaze, to the footrim; glaze base. PERIOD : Song Dynasty (960–1279 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 12 cm wide, 4 cm tall. CONDITION: Excellent, no chips, cracks, hairlines and free from restoration.

Chinese Song Dynasty Qingbai Glazed Porcelain Bowl

Description:

A Cizhou tea bowl was in decent oval shape and was well decorated with russet splashes on the outer surface.
At the inner surface, it was in darken brownish nearing black tint when spiral molding scars were obviously observed.

For authentication, there are whitish and stardust-like incursions revealed especially obvious at the inner surface of the bowl...

A fine blue and white ming dish,Interregnum Period.Decorated with two phoenixes paired with two lotuses.size:25,5cm diameter. dish has a view short hairlines and verry minor chip at the back side.

This pouring vessel is in the form of an amber glazed Lion. It dates from the Ming period. Measure : H=16 cm, W = 9 cm, L= 20 cm. It is in excellent condition with glaze degradation on some area, no chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration.

Rare Vietnamese 14th Century Apple-Green Glazed Stoneware Bowl

This rare stoneware bowl was made during the 14th century. It is coated in an apple-green glaze. Although not very clear, round the lower inner surface there appears to be a floral (?) pattern using a glaze-resisting method. There is an unglazed stacking band around the centre, the centre appearing the be coated in a thin yellowish wash...

Description:
A recumbent beast was shown with its head turned back and slightly tilting upwards.
The Bixie was well carved with protruding eyes, ruyi-shaped nose, curved ears and single-horned head.
By vividly depicted ribs on its abdomen and the flouring hairs of the tails, the fairy beast was rest on the flat bottom in plain form-an important characteristic for early jade carvings.

Description: A Qingbai bottle vase was finely molded. Based on the glaze tint and the body clay's quality, the Meiping vase was justified as a product from the kilns of Fujian Province of Song Dynasty. Pinpoint glaze holes and residues within them were found on the surface. Faint crackles were spread under the glaze. By a simple and beautiful shape, the Meiping was in perfect condition without any restorations. Date: Song Dynasty,(11th-12th century). Height: 15.6cm.
