Of gilt bronze, this fine snuff box is likely a master or table snuff box, as its dimensions are larger than one usually carried in a pocket. It measures 3 1/16" x 2 3/8" across the lid, and is 1 1/2" high. The base is slightly smaller, as the lid overlaps and fits tightly on the base. The scene on top depicts a man seated in a chair, surrounded by others, including a man in Chinese clothing. This c. 1930's Spratling design measures 3 5/8" X 3 1/4" high & weighs 261 grams. The vase has a globular body and tall long neck flanked by tubular handles, and is covered allover in a glaze of slightly pale olive green which falls in a line above the glazed base. 9 cm high Perfect condition, no chips, cracks, or hairlines and free from restorations.

Very Rare Chinese Northern Dynasties Painted Pottery Horse (AD 386 - 581)

This extremely rare pottery model of a saddled horse was made during the Northern Dynasties period (AD 386 - 581). It is rather naively modelled from a dense grey pottery that is fairly high-fired. The body has been cold-painted in yellow-ochre, black and pale reddish-brown pigments whilst the upper surface of the base is painted white.

Fierce looking old Samurai ningyo (Japanese doll) in rare museum quality. His head is carved wood and the face resembles kabuki actors or Jyoruri ningyo (18th to 19th century puppet theater dolls) from the Edo period (1603-1868). It is definitely a work of art.

You are viewing a William Spratling 1st phase signed bracelet he named the crowned pyramid. This is a super thick and heavy constructed treasure. The height of the design is 15/16th or shall we say one inch? The weight is 66 grams. The length is 7 inches. No damage or repairs. There are specs of patina and shadows in the pictures. Lays great on the wrist and carries a presence to remember.

A rare found of Ming dynasty 15th century Interregnum period b/w bowl, decorated with very nice cobalt blue tone of "Three Friends Of Winter" pattern to exterior. The interior with floral scroll design to the center and four scroll branch to cavetto wall. A truly monumental early 20th c. Chinese silver bracelet, this is simply breath-taking both in proportions as well as in the craftsmanship it displays. Executed in cobalt and sea blue, as well as purple and green enamel infinity knots, bats, stylized clouds and "Shu" characters adorn the filigree frame. Yet the piece de resistance is the carved and pierced jade insert in the central link. I believe this might be mutton fat jade and it shows the Ho Ho or Heavenly Twins...
