Rare and unusual hand carved Fluorite skull, this wonderful display items weights 938 grams and has a dimension of 3.75 inches long with height of 3.75 inches. Very realistic and incredibly carved in excellent condition.

Description: Like the beauty of a poem, a beautiful Jadeite snuff bottle was in elegant slender shape. Capped with brownish amber stopper, the jadeite bottle was in lake-green tint and was decorated with motifs of numerous archaic characters of Sou (longevity) on the surface. The foot rim was delicately carved in groove style at the bottom. By an elegant profile, the charming tint and the well hollowed chamber, all these characteristics made this snuff bottle an excellent piece...

An early, pre-1948 Matl-esque silver, amethyst and turquoise ring, this piece is signed by one of Matilde's contemporaries whose emulations of her designs I came to appreciate for their craftsmanship and beauty of the stones used. This is also a more rare to find variation, having a round face with a deep channel separating the amethyst from the turquoise cabs. Fabulous, very rare and rather early example of Danish silver jewelry signed by H. Saugmann Bjerregaard, active in Kjellerup in the years between 1921 and 1937. Quite impressive with its big, variegated agate cabochon - I believe this is actually moss agate - and extremely rare this is a Mexican ring with strong presence by Enrique Ledesma, one of Taxco's foremost modernist silversmiths. I love the asymmetrical setting - it creates a feeling of continuous flow and movement that accentuates the earthiness of the agate - and the fantastic way that Ledesma has of combining metal and stone. Description: An exquisite conical Yaozhou bowl was molded with beautiful motifs of flowers and tendrils in the cavetto. Preserved in perfect condition, the bowl's foot ring was adhesive with kiln sands. Numerous bubbles were characteristically revealed in the glaze. Some minute burst bubbles were left on the outer mouth rim, Otherwise the over all condition is perfect. Date: Song Dynasty(AD960-1279), Width: 10cm

A stunning box covered entirely in mother of pearl upon which is the crescent moon in lead under maki-e gold florals. Inside Rimpa style dear rest in lead and gold maki-e on a ground of red-tinted Nashiji. The box is in excellent condition, likely dating from the mid 19th century. It measures 22 x 24.5 x 5 cm (8-1/2 x 9-1/2 x 2 inches).

The Matl double birds "looking back" earrings are one of the most endearing designs by Matilde Poulat. These are hallmarked with one of her earliest signatures. They measure 1 7/8th inches long including the dangles. The weight is 20 grams heavy. There is a warm natural patina to the silver. A superb treasure.

Handmade sterling silver and turquoise bracelet designed and signed (c.1950) by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar (1905-86). Bracelet measures 1 1/4 inch wide and will comfortably fit up to a 6 1/2 inch wrist. The bracelet is in beautiful vintage condition.
