Piedra y Plata was the name of Felipe Martinez's taller. He was known for his incredible stone work. Gorgeous, old, long Dishta or Dishta style sterling screw back earrings with 3 tiers of turquoise channel inlay, ground flush and composed of tiny circles and tear drops and 7 diamond shaped sterling paddles dangling from the earring bottoms. We have recently been lucky enough to have acquired a collection of very rare examples of burnished black pottery items made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). Such items are relatively unknown and very little has been published about them. They are found in the northern provinces, particularly Gansu province in the north-west.

This pair of Japanese handmade long square cut nails are 5" long and appear to have never been used. The nail heads are solid and shaped into a hemisphere. The silver colored decorative metal escutcheons have scalloped edges and markings to represent a flower. The escutcheons are just under 1" in diameter and have a squared center hole which exactly fits the nail shank.
