Very rare vintage Ben Reig hinged bangle in goldtone with coral color thermoset stones and clear rhinestones. Late 1940s. Marked BEN REIG. The American design firm Ben Reig operated from the 1930s through the 1960s and I believe is known more for its clothing than its jewelry.

This piece has a beautiful openwork design made up of many small Maltese crosses studded with thermoset plastic faux coral cabochon stones, and clear rhinestones...

Gorgeous, old, long Dishta or Dishta style sterling screw back earrings with 3 tiers of turquoise channel inlay, ground flush and composed of tiny circles and tear drops and 7 diamond shaped sterling paddles dangling from the earring bottoms. These hang 2 5/8" long and are 3/4" wide at the widest point. They weigh 13 grams total and are in fine original condition. They are unsigned. Delicate, precise, remarkable.

Rare Tall Chinese Xixia Dynasty Glazed Stoneware Jar

This tall cylindrically-shaped storage jar comes from Ningxia in north-west China and dates to the Xixia Dynasty (1038 - 1227). It is "heavily-potted" and coated in a thick glaze, the colour varying from black to brown according to its thickness. This jar must have been placed close to other vessels in the kiln during firing as there are several kiln scars to the upper body...

This pair of elegant estate 14Kt yellow gold and diamond dogwood earrings are from the 1960-s. The center of each earring is set with three brilliant cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.12Ct. The 15 millimeter diameter earrings have a post and omega back combination.

Rare Chinese Yuan Dynasty Burnished Black Pottery Meiping

We have recently been lucky enough to have acquired a collection of very rare examples of burnished black pottery items made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). Such items are relatively unknown and very little has been published about them. They are found in the northern provinces, particularly Gansu province in the north-west.

A 10k - 14k diamond wedding band and matching engagement ring set with hearts from the 1940s. A very unusual huanghuali scholar's container made of one solid piece of wood. There is no plug at the base. These types of designs are very desirable for collectors of huanghuali pieces. This pair of Japanese handmade long square cut nails are 5" long and appear to have never been used. The nail heads are solid and shaped into a hemisphere. The silver colored decorative metal escutcheons have scalloped edges and markings to represent a flower. The escutcheons are just under 1" in diameter and have a squared center hole which exactly fits the nail shank.
