Charles Paul Gruppe (American, 1860-1940) autumnal Dutch landscape with windmill. Watercolor on paper. Circa 1920. Signed lower right. Offered in an antique giltwood frame. Size: 11" x 17" (sight). Provenance: Stanton's Galleries, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Excellent condition. Charles Gruppe was born in Canada but travelled to Europe in the 1880s, where he took up residence in the Netherlands for some 20 years...

This 14Kt white gold art-deco ring is centered by an approximately 0.45Ct good quality brilliant-cut diamond. The center stone is flanked on either side by five single-cut diamonds set in an angular pattern. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.55Ct. The ring is a size 5 ½ and it can easily be sized.

A pear-shaped vase freely painted with foliate designs in a dark chocolate brown glaze over a white slip. The slightly flared footrim is also painted in dark chocolate brown. Comes with a certificate from an auction in Beijing. Period: Song (10th Century) Size: Height = 22.5 cm (8-7/8") Condition: A very small chip at the foot-rim.

This charming old traditional style tea container is made from bamboo. It has a fitted lid that is held in place by a thin strip of wood which passes through the handle and fits in a slot in the lid. With the handle extended upward the piece measure 6" tall. The lid has some tooth marks left by a venturesome but unsuccessful mouse.

Chinese Tang Dynasty Painted Pottery Foreign Groom Figure

This pottery figure was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906) and represents a foreigner, in this case, a groom. It is made from a red pottery that has been cold-painted in various coloured pigments. The figure stands with legs apart, head held up and arms raised. The facial features are quite well-defined; note also the head gear.

A good size with a height of 30 cm...

A lovely roku-yu glazed form from the kilns of Korea mounted on a tri-pronged rosewood stand and enclosed in a period kiri-wood box. It is 12 inches (30 cm) tall plus the stand. There are minor chips about the rim. An excellent piece for use in the tea room. Likely 15th to early 17th centuries (Possibly later Goryeo likely early Joseon).

By a very fine condition, the bronze deity was reserved with the original patina of the painted gold leaf and the enduring old and darken bronze sheen.
Sitting on the legendary holy beast- Hong, the Guanyin was in a easy-posture with one leg resting on the back of the animal and with another leg stepping on the lotus pedestal.
She was heavily cast by fine quality of bronze and was carved by brilliant crafts...

Capped with brownish amber stopper, the jadeite bottle was in lake-green tint and was decorated with motifs of numerous archaic characters of Sou (longevity) on the surface. The foot rim was delicately carved in groove style at the bottom. By an elegant profile, the charming tint and the well hollowed chamber, all these characteristics made this snuff bottle an excellent piece...

A stunning box covered entirely in mother of pearl upon which is the crescent moon in lead under maki-e gold florals. Inside Rimpa style dear rest in lead and gold maki-e on a ground of red-tinted Nashiji. The box is in excellent condition, likely dating from the mid 19th century. It measures 22 x 24.5 x 5 cm (8-1/2 x 9-1/2 x 2 inches).
