Description: An enamel covered box of Qing dynasty was kept well and with an old auction sticker of the Christie's on it. Decorated with beautiful motif of flowers in four parts including at the cover, metal wire was chased into the scarlet ground and formed with archaic regular lines. Date: Qing Dynasty (19th Century) Condition: Two minor old defects. One was at the rim of the cover while the other was at the bottom. Height: 7.9cm Width: 6.3cm

This is a small earthenware Sui dynasty (A.D 581 - 618) lotus design comestic box. It has three small rounded compartment. The top part shows the lotus bud, pods and leave. The three flowers below are shown as three small comestic boxes in melon shape.

Aside from some abrasions, there are only minor chips at the base (picture 6). Other than that, it is in good condition.

The measurement of the yueyao comestic box is: Length 8.3cm and the Height is 5cm.

Signed and dated top right in excellent condition measuring an impressive 30x40 inches framed in a toned gold frame some minor restoration overall size approx. 40 x 50 inches. This unique 14Kt yellow gold retro broach is shaped like a bouquet of flowers, and is decorated by 1 oval and 3 round amethysts and 5 round rubies. The broach measures 1 5/16” in width and 1 11/16” in height. The marking on the clasp is 14K.

This fantastic piece of jewelry is made of 18Kt yellow gold. The center of the bow is decorated by 10 full-cut diamonds. The total weight of the diamonds is approximately 0.60Ct.The bow has a brushed satin finish that is accented by polished edges. This broach is quite a heavy piece (40.4gr) and is 2 5/8" wide and 2 1/8" high. The back of the pin is marked 18K and BORIS-le BEAU.

Description: A strand of rosaries was assembled by 108 pieces of old Zhi-Tan beads. Among them, old coral and elephant bone beads were decorated. Old beads were getting hard to find. This exquisite platinum ring was made by Jabel in the 1960-s. The center stone is an 11X13 millimeter oval cabochon tourmaline cat's-eye which weighs approximately 12Ct. The cat's-eye is surrounded by 16 high quality pave set brilliant-cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 1.0Ct. The shank is tamped Jabel and 900Plat. 100Irid.

Han Dynasty Cocoon Jar (206 BC-220 AD). The distinctively plump, ovoid form of this jar, imitating the shape of a silkworm cocoon, has a fair amount of the original paint remaining on the body. Characteristic swirling cloud / scroll designs in reddish-pink and white cold-paint pigments decorate the surface. This jar is in very good, “as excavated” condition with no visible repairs, one chip to the rim of the mouth (see photos), as well as some burial dirt still attached...

The almost complete dominance of white seems to convey a passage through space, from clarity into obscurity, leaving the viewer with a slight sense of loss echoing in ones memory...

Spectacular, unusual sterling and onyx earrings by Antonio Pineda. A great layered, modernist design with spikey pieces of onyx at the top of the earring. These are screwbacks and measure 1 1/4" long and 3/4" wide. Fine original condition and signed as shown. Terrific!!!

A beautiful sterling and carnelian Art Deco ring by Georg Jensen Denmark. I have never seen this ring offered before and believe it to be quite rare, perhaps custom made. It is a size 7 1/2 and in fine original condition. The front of the ring measures 7/8" wide and 5/8" long. Signed with the 1933-44 mark as shown. A rare period ring from Jensen.

Evald Nielsen ( 1879-1958 ) opened his workshop in Denmark in 1907. His style is very similar to that of Georg Jensen and there are those who think Nilesens' work is of even better quality. This spectacular sterling and lapis Art Nouveau pin measures 2 1/8" by 2 1/8". The bursting lapis bud provides the focal point of the pin and is surrounded by luscious sterling foliage. It is in beautiful original condition and signed as shown. It is magnificent in every way.

From the CongJiang in Gui Zhou province, this drinking horn is carved from water buffalo. It is a thick (and heavier weighted horn) which, according to my Miao friends is considered an inferior horn. So, this piece would have been owned by a "Poorer" family. It is wonderful primitive art object with carvings that are full of symbols reflecting Miao culture and legends. The hole in the tip would have held a string or metal ring to facilitate hanging the horn...

Description: An exqusite wood carving depicts magpies on plum branches. With skillful craftsmanship, two birds playing within knaggy branches was naturally carved on the construction of the openwork. An example of Chinese traditional wood work. A reserved inlay piece was believed 'cause grooves were obvious on the reverse side. Possibly a relic of a pendant and can be recovered as one after some new inlayed work. Date: Qing Dynasty (18th Century) Length: 5.8cm Width: 3.6cm Depth: 1.9cm

VERY RARE Hector Aguilar Aztec Flowers cuff bracelet c. 1940-55 in 940 silver.
