Finely potted porcelain bowl, painted in pale famille rose enamels with fruiting and flowering gourd vines. The outside decorated with four "dragon and phoenix" medallions on a yellow ground. Base with iron red six character "Guangxu" mark. Condition: foot rim with an over glazed tiny chip (see photo no. 3), some wear to gilding. Dimension: Diameter: 13.8 cm, 5.9 cm high.

Hallmarked Taxco 980 and I always say that I have never seen a piece marked as such that was not quality. The repousse is perfection and is 90 grams heavy. Outstanding in size as the drop is 1.75in. at the center and 2in. drop at the sides and an overall span of 5 inches. Most importantly the wearable length of this beauty sports a full 16.5 inches of comfort. I have photographed in evening light to show how the silver softens with warm hues. One of my favorite Margot de Taxco all-silver designs, the beaded, undulating links of "5247" exude an unsurpassed sense of motion and their architecturality is only enhanced with patina as the years go by. The bracelet and matching earrings set at hand is a find for the collector - especially since the bracelet is not an easy piece to come upon. And it's a pleasure to wear.....

Two strands signed RM and DM are intoxicating beads of bold color. One pre 1948 strand and another that bears an eagle as shown are crafted with thick silver and each has a clasp so you can wrap it one more time around the neck with ease. One strand is 37inches long and the other one is 40in. long. These bundled gems are marvelous left long or wrapped up with a twist. They weigh 256 grams of stone and silver. Both strands are one inch long but one is "fatter" than the other...
A striking 9 strand sterling bracelet with chiseled design terminals by Navajo silversmith Johnny Mike Begay who worked at the White Hogan Shop in Scottsdale, AZ. and also worked on his own. It measures 5 1/4" around in the inside with an additional 1 1/2" opening and is 2 3/8" wide. Weighing 53 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed JMB as shown. A very bold statement on the wrist.

This incredibly detailed 970 sterling silver and black obsidian bracelet was designed and signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). Four kiri panels are set into a rosewood framework, each uniquely painted by Osaka Literati paragon Mori Kinseki. It is 12 x 12 x 11-1/2 inches (30 x 30 x 29 cm) and is in fine condition. A vintage man's sterling silver ring with an intaglio carved centurion hematite or black Alaskan diamond stone c1940s-50.
