An antique wood statue of the Boddhisattva Wei Tuo, the guardian of the Buddhist principles, dating to the late Qing dynasty. Carved in two parts with gilding and red color. He is standing on a rock imitating base, dressed as a warrior and holding the vajra staff. Condition: one hand with tiny losses, parts of scarf missing, top of helmet with a lost insert, vajra staff, one hand and back with glued patches. Dimension: total height: 38.5 cm, figure: 31.5 cm, weight: 1300 g.
Made in mid Java, hammered and chiseled copper or bronze, decorated with a kind of vase with flower branches. Diameter 40,5 cm. Very good condition and lovely patina. Only one tiny hole.

Attractive folk art Buddha with most of it's original painting intact. Made in Sri Lanka in the 19th or early 20th century. H. 55 cm. This rare, intricately handwrought necklace was probably designed for Hector Aguilar by Valentin Vidaurreta circa 1940. The necklace measures 17" long & 1" wide. It weighs 120 grams, 4.03oz. Fully hallmarked on the clasp HA TAXCO 940. Exquisite patina, beautiful condition with no issues. Slide in clasp is tight and secure. Authentic early Matilde Poulat "MATL" sterling, turquoise and coral screw back chandelier earrings c. 1940. There are 5 articulated sections with 4 dangling tabs on the bottom. Margot de Taxco design 5580 is not your average clamper bracelet. The swirls have 1/4 in. thickness boxed outward that adds an exceptional dimension to the design. The face front is 2in. tall and the back is 7/8th of an inch tall. The inside diameter is 2.25in. making the wrist fit around 6.5in. and under.
