In a round shape, the ware was applied with characteristic triple colors(usually as brown, yellow and green) on the upper half of the surface, and left the lower portion unglazed.

Rarely seen on the market this strong, wide design is considered one of Hector Aguilar's finest. Made and signed circa 1940-45 the bracelet is hallmarked HA STERLING MADE IN MEXICO and measures 1 3/8" wide with a 6 1/2" inside wearable length. An unusual Japanese blue and white porcelain koro, presumably Hizen production. Clearly Japanese with Mon alternating with flowering karakusa on the rim, and the body decorated with almost Nabeshima like cloud and tooth borders enclosing a broad tako-karakusa background featuring peony blossoms on cylindrical form with inverted, broad rim. Five spur marks appear on the glazed foot with no rim. Very good condition. About 3 1/16 inches (7.78 cm) diameter. About 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) high.

Patino was known for quality early vintage Mexican silver jewelry. The repousse surrounds each hand carved stone like a well made picture frame. It's sweeping flourishes and expertly carved masquettes set this piece apart from others. There are no dents or chips to the stones (reflections are seen) and all the hinges are straight and sound. The width is 1.5 inches tall and the length is 7.5in. This repousse bracelet weighs 56 grams heavy. Truly a lovely piece.
