This is a large, beautiful and museum quality Han dynasty pig style. It shows two pigs in the pig style with a fodder holder. The pig style is made of red pottery and it is rare to find them in such good condition and of a good size. The pig style is used as burial object to accompany the dead for their after-live used.

Description: A camphor wood arm chair was originally made in Taiwan in the late 19th century. With beautiful design, this chair was used to be put on the main side of a living room in pairs which were called Tai-Shi-Yi, the lord's chair. A beautiful Large Staffordshire blue transfer ware well and tree platter made by Clews circa 1825. The platter features a scenic view of travelers in a landscape with ruins and a floral border. Measuring an impressive 21 inches by 16.5 inches the condition is excellent but for a minor chip that was successfully reattached (see picture) . It is amazing that there are virtually no knife marks or signs of use for a piece nearly 200 years old...

It is beautifully potted in an ovid form with incised foliate ground in a transparent icy green glaze, with the rounded side tapering to a short foot.

There are no repairs or restorations. There is some minor firing fault, degradation, chips at the mouth (picture 3) and minor losses. Minor scattered oxidise spot and a more a visible one shown on picture 5. Otherwise in good condition.

This brass necklace is Circa 1870 with one genuine Egyptian scarab beetle showing it's multi green copper 'metallic' looking iridescent hues still present after these 130 years! A fabulous pair of sterling cuff links by New York Modernist Arthur King. King had a shop on Madison Avenue in New York City in the 1960's. Most of his pieces have caged stones and these appear to be quartz or rock crystal which is a delightful combination with the silver. Featured on page 25 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk, this is a fine silver and amethyst bracelet by Fred Davis,Taxco. The authors date this piece c.1930. This is a finely potted and enamelled “Over-The-Wall” famille rose Ogee Bowl. It shows three stem of bamboo tree drawn from the exterior of the bowl and then continues into the interior of the bowl with persimmons hanging on to the bamboo plant with the twig crossing over the rim into the interior of the bowl.
