Wonderful, versatile sterling Coro clips. They can be worn together as a brooch as shown here, or separated and worn as clips (great on a hat or belt). The set has a patent number which dates its production as beginning in 1931. The back of the Duette has the patent number and is marked sterling and Coro Duette. The earrings are marked sterling. Here is a lovely necklace of openwork panels, each with a center marcasite, and three prong-set carved carnelians. All are suspended by a white metal chain decorated with embossed links. The beveled carnelians are decorated with carved stylized leaves and stems. The necklace measures 17 1/2 inches; the spring ring clasp appears to be original.

An impressive cast and gilt brass buckle bangle from the 1930’s, probably French. Relief decoration of bamboo and Japanese / Chinese characters. Inner diameter "2 ½/ 5,8 cm. Condition: fine. A brooch of the same design is being offered in another GC listing.

This Duette shouts Deco! As with all Coro Duettes, it can be taken apart and worn as to clips. This brooch is very versatile---worn as a brooch, two clips, one clip as a scarf holder or on a hat band. it makes a wonderful "belt buckle"!. A very early Coro, displaying patent number 1798867, the piece dates from 1931. It is signed Coro Duette on the back along with the patent number. 3 1/4" across, 1 3/4 top to bottom.

There is rhodium plated metal brooch with black and red enmael. There is some wear to the enamel of the pelican's bill. All the pave rhinestones appear to be bright.

There is a Hallmark that is barely visible Made in USA and a symbol which I cannot photograph which appears to be a star with circle made of dots (Fred Gray).
