Known as the Josephine Baker bracelet, this c1935 Bakelite and brass cuff was originally designed to hold face powder and a small square powder puff. The inner diameter of the cuff is 2 1/4" (6 cm) x 2" (5.5 cm). The opening is 1 1/4" (3.5 cm). At the widest part, the cuff measures 1 11/16" (4.9 cm). It tapers to 1/2" (1.2 cm) at the open ends. Though the powder and puff are no longer with us, the compact area is clean and has a 1 1/4" (3.5 cm) square opening and a 1/4" (.6 cm) depth...

Very big bracelet in sculpted goldtone with large and medium sized poured glass stones, probably by the French maker Gripoix, in two colors of yellow and orange topaz, by Lucien Piccard. 1970s. Marked LUCIEN PICCARD and numbered. Box slide clasp. The center section is slightly curved to conform to the wrist. 7 inches wearable length, 1 5/8 inches wide, and 1 inch deep at center stone. Beautiful French rope necklace in the style of Chanel; possibly an early unsigned Chanel. Circa 1960. With large Gripoix poured glass beads, glass based faux pearls, rhinestone rondelles, and distinctive fluted goldtone metal beads which I have had on two other confirmed French pieces. A Victorian Edwardian round gold filled photo locket from 1900 1910. This attractive 7/8" diameter pendant has a strapwork and wirework mount with a loop for hanging. It has a bottom hinge, a hand engraved shield with decoration on the front, a plain rear and no monograms on either side. It has a photo retaining bezel and it has the maker's mark for Quarnstrom & Remington of Attleboro, Massachusetts (listed as of 1904 but probably active earlier)...

Vintage Bakelite necklace simulating cherry amber, with very large graduated oblong beads ranging in size from 30 mm long to 12 mm long. It weighs 62 grams. Circa 1930. It has been professionally restrung for security. Tests positive for Bakelite and guaranteed old and original. 18 1/2 inches wearable length and 7/8 inch wide. Excellent condition. One large bead has three small flaws, as shown, but this is not noticeable when the piece is worn. Photos enlarged to show detail.

This wonderful brooch / pin consists of 3 flowers with a central blue - purple rhinestone, cupped by enamel petals, into another set of light blue plastic petals, into darker blue petals. The green leaves are plastic and attached to a stem of white enamel over metal. The beadwork is excellent, detailing the age c. 1950's-1960's. The back of the stem is marked LISNER. It measures 3" x 2". It is in excellent condition (the enamel on the stem shows some metal)...

1970s chic statement size runway link necklace in heavy sculpted cast metal, in silvertone with goldtone accents, with foldover clasp. Top couture quality, possibly an unsigned Les Bernard. Very interesting vintage French statement size cuff bracelet in what feels like black suede (or possibly Ultrasuede) with large prong set stones, tiny gold glass beads at each end, and fine gold metal chain weaving between the stones, and with embroidered edges. With a magnetic clasp in goldtone metal with tiny brilliant strass stones on each end. The large stones feel like Lucite...

Napier silver plate over brass, c1955, three strand bracelet with center overlapping talon ends holding coral ceramic balls. It is 8 1/4" (20.9 cm) long and the three wheat chain strands together are 1 3/8" (3.8 cm) wide, not including the ceramic balls. They are each 3/4" (2.2 cm) in diameter. The bracelet was designed by Eugene Bertilli and is signed Napier on the clasp. It is in beautiful vintage condition with no plate loss that I could spot.
