This fine sterling ring is a size 5. It has an oval shape and consists of 14 sawtooth, bezel-set, turquoise cabs, surrounding the central, oval, turquoise stone: sawtooth, bezel-set, as well. The artist's work is fantastic. The band has nice, Navajo stamp work. It is marked STERLING with the maker's mark of a conjoined JP. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

Antique Peranakan or Straits Chinese silver belt, probably early 20th century. With its Aceh style Phoenix bird theme this belt was traditionally used by ladies at weddings and other festivities. The buckle – now missing but easily replaced by a matching textile ribbon - would have held a larger version of the Phoenix motif. With diffuse marks but tested for a silver content of 500/1000. A hand made low grade silver "flower" pendant with 15 faceted natural antique-cut rubies, a single faceted natural emerald, three oval turquoise stones and opaline glass. Three stones are missing, a few rubies are crunched and some are replacements, and the small emerald at the top needs to be secured in its setting. Date unknown, unmarked and the silver untested...

This pair of traditional silver ear plugs were worn in the enlarge holes of the Yao woman of China and Thailand. The same filgree pattern is on both sides of the earplugs. The plugs are 1+ inches in diameter and 1/2 inches thick.

This necklace consists of 2 carved ivory beads 3/4ths inch diameter, 8 large carved bone beads 3/4th inch, and 88 smaller carved bone beads (1/2 inch). Each large bone and ivory bead has a protective metal sleeve around the stringing hole. An authentic ancient rare glass eye bead from east Asia

This wide cuff Chinese bracelet has deeply repousse design composed of detailed symbols related to Miao Ethic Minority myths and legends. Such bracelets would have been worn in matched pairs, one on each wrist, by the women of the "short skirt" Miao of Dan Zhai, and the bracelets would have been handed down from mother to daughter for generations.

The cuff is almost 3 inches at the widest point in the front because of its large size and rolled edge it easily slips onto most wrists.

Vintage filigree niello silver Persian Gulf scenery bracelet that while being shown at a show several years ago, was seen by an elderly engineer who worked in Iran in the 50s. He said, '...this bracelet was commissioned by the Shah of Iran as a gift in gratitude for the wives of engineers who were there building the oil fields...' Note the odd motifs scribed on to the niello...

This traditional style of India woman's necklace has a bead at the ends which slides to adjust the length of the necklace to suit the wearer. The silver pendant would hold a lingam stone and has a cluster of small silver balls attached using a technique called "goli". The balls are not welded to the base, but are attached with a wire, giving them some slight movement.

This carved jade pumpkin is suspended from a braided green silk cord embellished with jade and hardstone beads and white jade leaves. The length is adjustable by pulling the white beads at the top. The overall length is about 13 inches. The pumpkin carving is:
