Today I have a Salvador Teran Mexican Silver bracelet that is rarely seen. Each link is built like a shadow box encasing two amethyst cabochons. It has great dimension and creates a strong presence. Signed Margot de Taxco Swanns is a coveted design. Even more difficult to find with all the repousse balls in perfect condition. All the balls are channel set making this item even harder to construct. The center reflects the age being open backed repousse. The center drop is 2 in. and the measurement across is 4 in. across. A truly spectacular sterling tufa cast ring with 14k gold saw tooth bezel set Carico Lake turquoise by Pala Mission-Cherokee jeweler and sculptor Larry Golsh. Many of his jewelry designs, such as this one, have been inspired by those of Hopi silversmith Charles Loloma. The ring is a size 6 and weighs 31 grams. The face of the ring measures 1 5/8" long. Beautiful, rare cuff with silver overlay and center deep red coral stone by Master Hopi Silversmith Victor Coochwytewa (1922- 2011) who began producing in the 40's and is best known for his traditional Hopi patterns. His career spanned over 50 years and he retired from jewelry making in 2006.This bracelet measures 5 1/4" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/4 opening.
