This is an early Antonio Pineda necklace that I have seen only in obsidian. Everyone over uses the word rare but ...this is very, very rare.. We have a properly signed Antonio Pineda crescent necklace styled with black onyx and having a height of one inch. The weight is 111 grams of quality construction. The hand carved obsidian face mask has a gold sheen which is glowing and gorgeous, and exquisitely detailed, with dangling coral earrings. Stone measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/2", with a depth of 3/4". Carved tubular beads alternate with round silver beads, strung on a sterling silver chain, and the closure is a hook and eye.
