This geometric openwork pin depicting snakelike creatures is distinguished by its design, which draws from ancient Mexican imagery. The pin is sturdily made and has a secure C-clasp. It is unsigned but stamped on the back Taxco 980, which indicates a higher-than-sterling silver content. It likely dates from the 1940s-50s. I love the old hand made flies. They are so realistic and these are in 2 sizes. One is 1.75in. long and 1.25in. wide. This one is a pre-1948 980 TAXCO hallmark and weighs 6 grams heavy. The other is a bit smaller but not without detail measuring 1.5in. tall and 1 in. wide. The weight is 4.7 grams heavy. This one has an eagle 3 and is hallmarked EML IGUALA. The wings are wonderful and bent in an active position. The smaller one even has the dots/holes that a real fly has...

A vintage Art Deco style sterling silver and marcasite lapel watch brooch by Gotham. Has a wind up mechanism which runs erratically. Marked Sterling and the number 1. Has some numbers scratched on the back of the brooch part. Crystal is in nice condition. Missing one marcasite near the top of the brooch. Rollover clasp holds tightly. Blue enameled hands. Very pretty watch.

This is "The Armadillo" cuff. (The necklace is no longer available). It was designed circa 1945-50 by Valentin Vidaurreta and made by master silversmith Manuel Altamirano who worked for Valentin and also for Hector Aguilar. It is featured on page 198 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny C. Morrill. The cuff is 5 1/2" around in the inside plus a 1 1/2" opening. It is 1 5/8" wide in the front and in fine all original condition with no damage or repairs...

This A. Katz CoroCraft duette is called "Bill & Coo".

This famous duette has 2 bluebirds perched on 2 flowering grapevines. The birds are hand painted with enamel colors. All of the crystals have been faceted by hand. The birds are 3 dimensional giving you the sight of 2 wings on each bird. Each bird measures 1.75" high and 1.35" wide. The duette measures a total of 1.75" high and 2.75" wide.

This bracelet exhibits a classic Scandinavian style extremely popular during the 1950s and 1960s. The dramatic enameling is in vivid colors, featuring panels of Nordic scenes alternating with blue and white cloisonne panels. The tongue and groove clasp is very secure and bears the mark of Ottar Hval, of Oslo. The bracelet measures 7 ½ inches long by 5/8 inch wide. Weight: 26.4 grams

This bracelet is composed of folded panels incised with a Precolumbian-style motif. It is secured by a hook clasp and bears the circular mark of A. Munoz surrounding a 925 to indicate sterling. The bracelet measures just over 7 inches long by ¾ inch wide. Weight: 30.3 grams

Composed of a diamond-shaped sterling silver pendant suspended from a chain of curled and flattened sterling wire and amethyst glass beads. The pendant is constructed of separate triangular pieces attached to a central frame of curled wires. The back of the pendant is marked sterling. The entire necklace measures 13 ½ inches long (chain is doubled); the pendant alone measures 4 inches long by 2 1/8 inches wide.

This Norwegian necklace is composed of gilded sterling silver panels decorated with guilloche work under ivory-colored enamel and edged with black enamel and embossed flowers along the rim. The necklace clasp is in good working order, and bears the mark of Ivar T. Holth, of Oslo. The box part of the clasp is marked 925 for sterling; the tongue is marked for .830 silver. The enamel is intact, showing no losses or cracks. The necklace measures 15 inches long by 7/8 inch wide. Weight: 66.6 grams

The frame is of irregular width and is enhanced with oxidation. The C-clasp is secure; the matte-finish back is marked ”STG. SIL,” usually attributed to Australia or New Zealand, with the unidentified maker’s mark, possibly FM. The piece measures 1 ¾ inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide. Weight: 13.3 grams

A hand-assembled chain necklace composed of tiger’s eye beads and silver rope chain, beads and cylinders. The tiger’s eye beads are secured by wound wire links; the other elements are connected by securely soldered rings. The spring-ring clasp is in good working order and is original to the piece.
