This bracelet consists of 6 hinged links, each slightly convex. Each has a lovely, filigree design with a decorative border in which the turquoise blue, Egyptian, faience scarabs are set. The bracelet is silver gilt and measures 7 3/8" long x 3/4". The hinge is very interesting. It is a trombone type.

Early Mexico City open backed repousse cuff looks so fabulous without being embossed around the background of the roses because it makes the repousse really pop. This is a 1 10/16th in. wide and the diameter is 2.5in. There are no repairs, no dents and no light holes that come from poorly pressed silver. The roses are brisk and superbly dimensional. An excellent example and fabulous on.

A stunning design of rectangular panels with applied calla lilies, vines and 12-kt gold-filled leaves. This maker is unknown, but produced an impressive series of calla lily jewelry with hand-applied decoration. A folded end panel forms a very secure hook clasp. The bracelet has two safety chains. There is no maker’s mark, only marks for sterling and 1/20 12-kt. gold-filled decoration. The bracelet measures 1 ½ inches wide by 7 ¼ inches long. Weight: 86.3 grams

This great old Jerusalem Cross can be worn a a pendant or a charm. It measures 3/4" x 7/8". The back is marked 980 for its silver content. The Jerusalem Cross is also known as the "five-fold Cross" and "cross-and-crosslets." The cross has been used in early heraldry. It is also a symbol of faith, among other things.

This is a Rafael Dominguez turquoise bracelet made before 1948 and properly hallmarked as shown. The weight is 58 grams heavy and is 1.25in. wide. It is 7in. long. The silver is thick and Dominguez is know for his high quality workmanship. Dominguez is a noted maestro in Penny Morril's books. When you own a Dominguez piece you know you bought the best! This is a wonderfully executed figural ring depicting a man in a turban with snakes on either side, made of sterling silver and decorated by a 5 millimeter round fire opal. The hall mark is a bell within a bell. The ring is size 6 1/4 and it can be sized.

Dating in the 1940s, this massive sterling silver and azur-malachite "mozaico Azteca" inlay pendant necklace is signed by Taxco maestro Jose Anton. I am more used to Anton's repousse work yet from time to time, I do come across some examples that feature overlay and, as in this case, stone inlay. What impresses me here is, of course, the generously sized pendant with its "warrior" silver inlay in profile as well as the detail of the eagle figure floating in the air next to it...
