This substantial sterling silver bracelet is designed as a classic double-hinged bangle, with eight sides. The modernistic fold-over clasp serves as one hinge, and has the same design as the opposite link. The bracelet bears the mark of Barcelona, Spain, jeweler Puig Doria, which is still producing jewelry of various materials in addition to silver. The bracelet dates to the 1970s and measures ½ inch wide, with an interior circumference of about 7 inches. Weight: 66.3 grams

This great pin / brooch, circa 1950's, has a nice mod design. It measures 2" x 1 1/2". It features a mod foliate, floral and leafy motif, with buds. The "buds" are onyx cabochons. The back is marked TAXCO STERLING 925 in a circle with the artist's / silversmith's initials LC in the middle. This piece is in great condition and weighs 14 grams / .5 ounces.

This unusual brooch features poppies with lovely curving, flowing lines, mounted on an oval of mother-of-pearl. Poppies symbolize sleep (Dorothy in the field of poppies, on her way to Oz), rest, and eternal life. These sterling silver, screwback earrings are so cool. They are circa 1950's. They measure 1" x 3/8" x 1/4" deep. They feature a mod shape with a concave, oxidized background, with prong set, cultured pearls. One is marked STERLING J.S.C 925 (see pictures). I am still trying to figure out the silversmith's mark. They are solid and in great condition.

VikingCraft was a line of jewelry produced by Albert Horwig, New York, to satisfy the demand for scandinavian-style jewelry during the 1940s and 1950s. A pre-1948 pair of vintage Mexican silver earrings of exceptional design that goes with all Matl pieces. The color of the stones is a turquoise green. These are 2 in. tall and 2.75in. wide at the widest. The weight is 8.5 grams heavy. Properly hallmarked as shown with ICM, these earrings are remarkable and rare.

This amazing bracelet by Hector Aguilar is quite unique in that is made in Sterling Silver Vermeil. Known as the "Linked Circles Bracelet" and featured in the book Silver Masters of Mexico on page 63.It measures 7 1/2" long by 1" wide and weighs 77.9 grams. Hallmarked "Sterling Silver, HA, Made in Mexico". It has a secure box clasp and is in good condition with only light signs of wear. A very beautiful bracelet and a rare find for the collector.

This mid-century bracelet from Margot is a large wide spectacular standout piece. Hand-wrought with superb repoussé silver work, this is certainly one of the most magnificent designs Margot ever created, and it's in absolutely pristine vintage condition. Simple, elegant modernist earrings of irregular-shaped panels by Frances Holmes Boothby, bezel-set with cabochons of dyed black onyx. This is an outstanding piece, and one which I have never seen before. This gorgeous bird has at it's center a large round bezel-set onyx cabochon. Open-back repoussé silver tail feathers, win, and head extend from the center.

This amazing and beautiful necklace by Hector Aguilar is crafted in his favorite 940 Silver and is known as his "Six Spheres" design. It measures 19" long by 1 1/2" wide and weighs an impressive 233.4 grams. Hallmarked "HA, Taxco, 940". Secure box clasp. No damage noted. This necklace is featured in many books on Mexican Silver and is a fine example of this style.

This massive cuff by Antonio Pineda features a design inspired by the French cave of Lascaux. He made several items with this design which can be found in the book "Silver Seductions" on page 141. This bracelet measures 2 1/4" at the front tapering to 1" at the back with an inside measurement of 5" and an opening of 1 3/4". Very heavy at 135.3 grams. Graziella Laffi signed on both the necklace and bracelet. The enamel is in perfect condition as well as the silver. The length is 7 inches and the necklace has a wearable length of 16.5 inches. 1.25in. for the height for both the necklace and bracelet. When I see these there seems to be some that looks very much the same but there is always a change with a fish or bird in different places and size. For all Laffi collectors, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!
