This pre-1960 Matl Matilde Poulat necklace is absolutely magnificent. Collector quality, with beautiful birds, a large turquoise egg, branch coral, and turquoise and coral cabochons, this piece has a huge presence. Measures a closed, wearable length of just over 20". Weight is 80 grams. Signed and hallmarked "Matl Patente 10963 Mexico 925", with the eagle assay 129. In excellent vintage condition with a rich patina.

Vintage sterling articulated necklace with a detachable matching pendant with cabochon cut genuine amethyst stones. Circa 1955. A studio piece, not marked or signed but tests positive for sterling silver. With a hook clasp. The color of the stones is a bit warmer than the photos depict. Very versatile and wearable and an excellent length.

This early vintage Antonio Pineda 970 Silver bracelet features thick sculpted links set with uniquely cut Amethyst "tubes" witch are set so when the bracelet is closed it appears that the amethyst weave in and out of the silver links. It measures 7" long by 3/4" wide and weighs 76.2 grams. Hallmarked with the Antonio Taxco Crown, Silver, Made in Mexico, 970, ZZ 779 and the eagle 17. Secure box clasp and attached safety chain...

Circa mid-century, these earrings produced by Hector Aguilar are rarely seen. Each earrings has five turquoise cabochons with tiny silver beading and silver loops. They remind me of baskets of turquoise flowers with handles. They are in excellent vintage condition and are collector quality. They measure 13/16" x 11/16". Weight is 11.8 grams. Signed and hallmarked with the flared "HA", ".940 Taxco", and the eagle assay 9.

This Antonio Pineda bracelet is a very rare find. The matching necklace is shown on p.179 of Silver Masters of Mexico.

Comprised of twelve panels, each with a heart and a turquoise cabochon. Hand-caved with oxidized recesses, it's a superb piece which looks and feels fabulous. Collector quality.

Felipe Martinez was a sculptor, then a stone cutter for Hubert Harmon, before he opened his own taller "Piedra Y Plata" in 1950.

This necklace is a spectacular piece with carved and polished onyx in an edgy modernist design. A very rare necklace in collector quality. Stones are flawless.

Lariat necklaces are a favorite of mine and when I come upon a good Mexican example, I make every effort to bring it to One Good Eye Silver. Truth be told, they don't come up as often as other forms but it is an exciting quest to pursue. The late Deco / retro piece I am presenting here is a clipless version - you can adjust it by tying a loose knot at the desired height and change the way it looks whenever you feel like it...

This elegant and stylish bracelet by Antonio Pineda features thick silver links set with an oval cabochon Amethyst stone on one side with a luminous Pearl on the other. Beautifully crafted in thick heavy silver it measures 6 5/8" long by 7/8" wide and weighs 67.1 grams. In good condition with a secure box clasp and attached safety chain with light minor wear and tarnish. Hallmarked with the Antonio Taxco Crown, Sterling, Taxco and the eagle 208 (see photo)...

This set consists of a spectacular, large bracelet with matching earrings. Each onyx stone is bezel set. The bracelet measures 6 3/4" x 1" x 3/8" and has a V-spring and Box Clasp. The earrings are screwbacks and measure 1" x 3/4" x 3/8". The back of the bracelet is marked DEL RIO 0.925 HECHO EN MEXICO STERLING. The bracelet has good heft, weighing just about over 85 grams (3 ounces). The set has a beautiful design and is in excellent condition.

Circa 1950's, this belt buckle is was produced by Antonio Pineda. I have never seen this one before, and it's quite similar to one which William Spratling designed. Antonio Pineda began his career working for William Spratling. It's hand-wrought with criss-crossing lines which are deeply carved with oxidized recesses.

Measures 2 5/8" x 15/16"...

This superb pin is by Taxco silversmith Sigi Pineda. The boomerang design is complimented by the overlay of dots on the oxidized background. It is signed "Sigi Tasco" "STERLING HECHO EN MEXICO" and numbered "60" with assay mark 3 (see pictures). It measures 2 1/2" x 1" and is in excellent condition.

This bracelet features an iconic design by Abraham Paz. Paz designed and produced jewelry not only for himself, but for Fred Davis as well. This piece is composed of five hand-carved and polished obsidian masks which alternate with silver shields. Measures a closed, wearable length of 7 1/8", with a width of 15/16". Weight is 38.2 grams. Signed and hallmarked "AP Sterling Mexico", along with the eagle assay 1. Collector quality.

Gorgeous sterling silver repousse links with an openwork design come together to create a beautiful bracelet by the famous Margot de Taxco. A large bracelet it measures 7 1/2" long by 1 1/2" wide and weighs a heavy 65.7 grams. Hallmarked Margot de Taxco, Sterling Made in Mexico, 5513A and the eagle 16. Nice patina, secure box clasp and attached safety chain. A lovely Margot bracelet.

Intricately designed 970 sterling silver bracelet designed and signed by Taxco, Mexico modernist artist Antonio Pineda. Bracelet is 6 1/2"Long X 3/4"W. Absolutely exquisite 970 silver, onyx and moonstone necklace and matching screw back earrings by Taxco Master silversmith Antonio Pineda. Magnificent design and construction, this is a rare necklace measuring 16"end to end and 1"wide. It has 21 crescent shaped onyx stones and 21 round moonstones, a very striking contrast. The clasp is a silver crescent. The matching earrings measure 1 1/4" long. The necklace is in fine original condition with no chips or cracks to the stones...

Circa mid-century, this clamper was hand-wrought by Los Castillo, and it is spectacular. Wide, large, heavy, and collector quality. The snail shell design has graduated beading which curves gently around the sides. Very substantial, with a weight of 104.4 grams. Hinge looks to be old and original, and it's super tight and snappy. Couldn't be more perfect. Recesses are oxidized, giving depth which makes this a standout piece. Fully closed this will fit up to a 6 1/2" wrist. Width is 2 1/4"....

This is an extremely rare Antonio Pineda 970 silver necklace with 11 amethyst drop dangles. The necklace has the "Silver By Tono" hallmark which dates it 1948-1953. A necklace with a very similar design is featured on page 103 of the catalogue from the Antonio exhibit titled "SILVER SEDUCTION".
