A nice revival piece imitating the late Victorian Scottish agate pins. The agates are securely set in etched sterling silver. The top features a pierced setting mounted with a glass half-bead in the same dark honey color of the original Scottish cairngorms. These delicate-looking, lacy links are actually form quite a substantial chain necklace. The links have a clever twist, but still lie nicely when worn. A jump ring at the end bears largely illegible marks, but one appears to have a European shape. The chain tests strongly for silver, with a content of at least .800.
