An amazing modernist sterling silver ring with an abstract figural design signed with what looks like JPC, Iceland and 925S. Measures about a size 7- 7.5. The top sits 1/2" high and measures about 7/8" across and 1 3/8" long. Has an interesting hammered texture. Really stands out! Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

Being offered is a rare circa 1942 sterling silver and cabachon amethyst bracelet by Fred Davis of Taxco, Mexico. Early piece by one of the pioneers of the premiere Taxco Silver ateliers. Handwrought links with bezel set amethyst cabochons & alternating domed silver motifs. Tongue & box clasp. Dimensions: size 7 1/2 inches, links are 1 1/4 inches wide. Marked as illustrated. An elegant Art Nouveau silver brooch depicting a maiden smelling a rose. She is surrounded in a bower of climbing roses and enclosed in a frame of whiplash curves typical of French Art Nouveau. The clasp is marked for silver and bears the maker's mark of Fernand Boursot, who opened shop in Paris in 1894...

A sterling silver modernist brooch by Israel, 'Izzy' Sklar, American Mid Century jeweler. He was the husband of MCM jeweler Phyllis Sklar.

This brooch is made of thick sterling tangled wire in a brutalist design. Measures 1 1/2" tall and 1 3/4" at the widest. Weighs 14 gr.

Has the stylized i sklar hallmark and sterling on the back. Rollover clasp holds securely.

A repousse bracelet worked with great skill and signed JVE. A nice size being 1.25in. wide and approximately 40 grams of heavy repousse. The length is 7.25in. of comfort with no damage. The floral motif is on a thick silver base.

A Mid Century Modern bracelet in sterling silver by Kultaseppa Salovaara, Ky of Turku Finland with four bullet shaped bezel set stones. Deep purple in color, probably amethyst. The bracelet is concave for an interesting effect.

Measures 7" around and 1/2" wide at the ends. Has an opening of 3/4". Can be somewhat adjusted.

Marked with the polar bear mark for the maker, Finland, and 925.

Sleek, modernist design.

Uniquely designed hand made sterling and amethyst cuff, c.1970's. Large and bold, the design has a hand hammered concave disc set with a cabochon amethyst atop a cuff. The disc measures 2 1/8" in diameter and the amethyst is 9/16" in diameter. The cuff is a large scale 2 1/4" wide and the inside circumference measures 7 1/2". It will fit a medium and large wrist. Of good weight, it is in excellent condition...

Deep repousse' was used to create Spratlings' magnificent and labor intensive feathered serpent Quetzalcoatl design. Weighing 60 grams & measuring 3 1/4" x 2" the pin is in exquisite condition with gorgeous patina. This design is included in the 20th Century Mexican silver collection at Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The Quetzalcoatl pin was also used on the cover of the 4th edition of MEXICAN SILVER by Penny Morrill & Carol Berk...

This great ring is adjustable in size. It features a central, 18 karat gold Mexican character, surrounded by sterling silver and a colorful Mexican motif in enamel. The top is slightly convex and measures 1" x 3/4". It is marked 18K and 925. It is in excellent condition.

This wonderful, sterling silver charm displays George Washington and troops crossing the Delaware River on that cold winter evening, December 25, 1776. The back is marked WASHINGTON'S CROSSING DEC. 25, 1776. It also has a maker's mark of "H" inside a bell, for Heritage (part of the Heritage Collection) and is marked STERLING. This charm has good heft and is in excellent condition...

This great brooch / pin / pendant has a diameter of 1 1/2". It is slightly convex. The turquoise stone is inlaid (not enamel), very nicely. The back is marked TAXCO 925 STERLING (blurry) in a circle with very blurry initials of silversmith in the middle. The eagle assay mark is number 3, very lightly stamped.

An English sterling silver graduated heavy link watch chain, hallmarked with a date stamp on the swivel and onecente-loop for Birmingham 1901. The fob is an 1897 English silver thruppence - threepenny or three pence silver coin. This coin was sometimes used as here to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897 celebrating 60 years reign. Each link has the lion passant mark for sterling silver...

An enameled violin is suspended from an enameled treble clef, both enhanced with marcasite. The clef bears a rollover clasp on the back, and the violin is marked Germany/sterling silver. When worn with the clef at a slight angle, the 1960s pin measures approximately 2 inches long by ¾ inch wide at the violin. Weight: 5.2 grams

These fine, vintage / antique cufflinks are "chain links." They consist of inlaid jasper, bloodstone and agate in sterling silver. They are hallmarked J.C & S (for Joseph Cook & Sons). They also have the Anchor hallmark for Birmingham, England, the Lion Passant for 925 sterling silver and the date letter E for 1929. They are in excellent condition.
