This charming Margot de Taxco sterling silver ballerina is 1 1/8" x 1 1/2" . This item is hallmarked Sterling Made in Mexico and style 5200.

Large and unusual heart design modernist sterling pin designed by Henning Koppel for Georg Jensen, Denmark, c.1960's. It measures almost 3" by 1 1/2" and is signed "GEORG JENSEN(in dotted oval) 925S DENMARK 340". Excellent condition and great mod Jensen......$15 for insured US shipping.

Being offered is a circa 1960 .970 silver (better than sterling) necklace by Antonio Pineda of Taxco, Mexico, comprising heavy gauge silver crossing arches with teardrop amethysts; tongue and box clasp. Marked. In excellent condition.

A modernist sterling silver brooch with a large triangular shaped bezel set raw amethyst stone by Helge Narsakka for Kaunis Koru, Finland. Active 1954-61.

Signed HN for the designer, National Mark, 916H for the silver purity, Town Mark, K7 for 1963 and KK for the Maker.

Measures 2" across and 1 1/8" high. Minor tarnish. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Pretty deep purple color.

Would also look lovely worn with a converter on a neck ring.

Composed of a single loop of wire hammered flat on the top. The ring is unmarked, but tests definitively for silver. The top measures 1 1/8 inches long by about 5/8 inch wide. The ring is a size 9. Weight: 3.7 grams

A concave sterling bangle signed Hans Hansen Denmark 925S. For a smaller wrist and hand, it measures 2-1/4" ( inner diameter), is 1/4" wide and weighs 29.2gr.

Lovely sterling bracelet with very large apple jade stones. Circa 1900. Marked S, for sterling silver. With a light gold wash. Decorated with finely detailed repousse designs depicting stylized flower forms. With a slide clasp and safety catch. An excellent piece to wear alone or to layer with other jade bracelets.

Fabulous and large antique drop necklace in very finely worked silver, with large blue chalcedony carved round beads on a fine chain with tiny very detailed silver flowers, and with a large blue chalcedony drop drilled and invisibly suspended from a flower form mounting. Circa 1910. Spring ring clasp. The metal is not marked but tests positive for at least 800 silver. Similar necklaces are pictured in "Warman's Jewelry" by Christie Romero...

This huge pin is the work of Taxco designer Hubert Harmon. Harmon was active for a short time, and this piece bears hallmarks dating 1944-1948. Collector quality, this is a hand-wrought brooch with exquisite repoussé silver work and a gorgeous bow and ribbon design...

I am a big fan of Carmen Beckmann’s Etruscan style jewelry - her domed Etruscan ring is a foundational piece in my collection and I enjoy it thoroughly. There is something about the way the wire-work and tiny florets with their bead centers oxidize with time that creates an air of warm, comfortable luxury around them that gets me every time. I could easily see the dangle earrings at hand worn by dignified Roman matrons leisurely enjoying their honeyed wine...

A large vintage Mexican sterling baby deer pin c1930s-40. This 3" x 1-3/8" pin is of hollow construction, and it has a green turquoise glass eye. It has a safety catch, and it is stamped PLATA STERLING 925. It weighs 6.2 grams, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs; the eye has a straw mark original to the glass...

Vintage, rarely seen on the market 940 sterling silver graduated disc bracelet designed and signed circa 1948-62 by famous Taxco, Mexico artist & silver Maestro Hector Aguilar. The center front disc measures 1 1/2" high. The bracelet's inner circumference when closed is 7". Bracelet weighs 85 grams or 3 oz. Slide-in clasp works perfectly. No dents are dings to silver. So-called "chain mail" jewelry is not uncommon in the world of vintage Mexican silver. One can find them in all forms, with or without stones, and in all widths, signed by known maestros and by less-celebrated makers as well. There is something very slick about this design, its interwoven "mesh" inhabiting quite comfortably both the Art Deco and early modernist worlds. The necklace at hand is an example of the narrower versions but very well made and with good weight to it...

An interesting pair of sculptural mixed metals pierced earrings by the New York jeweler, Marci Zelmanoff.

These earrings have sterling wire details and sterling shepherd ear wires. Measure 2" long and 5/8" at the widest.

Both earrings are signed Marci Zelmanoff and with some sort of code which looks like 02-Z64. Hard to read.

They are in fine condition. Her pieces are quite rare.

Made in the 1960s, this vintage Mexican sterling silver bracelet consists of figural disks developing in a row defined by lengths of double-woven, thick chain. I have seen this combination featuring three different kinds of disk designs. While here we have depictions of the country's history as well as symbols of its old religion (a jaguar warrior portrait, Quetzalcoatl, Mexico's state Eagle) the specific bracelet design can be found with Mexican coins or representations of the zodiac cycle...
