This wonderful chunky vintage sterling silver necklace makes a statement no matter what you wear. The four sterling medallions are each sand-cast to create a beautiful frieze of abstract mythological figures in high relief, and each sterling link of the necklace is hand-wrought by the artist, one link presently unattached, each piece marked Sterling. Formed as palm fronds, with one folded toward the back, this simple pin was designed by Gertrud Engel for Anton Michelsen. It bears the ‘Rougie’ mark on the back, which likely refers to the design or the collection line. Engel specialized in naturalistic designs based on Danish coastal flora. This pin has a secure rollover clasp and measures 2 1/8 inches long by 1 inch wide. An identical pin is pictured in Ginger Moro's book "European Designer Jewelry." Weight: 5.3 grams

Vintage brown leather belt with sterling and coral belt buckle, and sterling end tip and keeper by Navajo Kee Joe Benally. Now deceased, he began working in the 50's and was employed by Woodard's Indian Shop in Gallup, NM for 15 years. The belt buckle measures 2 3/4" by 2 1/4". It has precise line chiseling as does the keeper and end tip. A vibrant bezel set red coral stone highlights the buckle. The leather belt is 45" end to end and is 1 1/4" wide...

We have a signed, early Fred Davis bracelet today to offer. The amethyst stones are a mix of milky swirl to a dark purple. When you look into them it appears to be a whole other world inside them. They are without chips or cracks. I could not do justice to them in my photos and there is reflection on their surfaces. They are a fancy barrel cut and the all silver links area cut in a half cylinder shape. There are no dents or damage. A little over 1 inch tall in height and a weight of 70 grams...

Woven figure eights set off design # 5625 - A by Margot Van Voorhies. The bracelet is just under one inch and the earrings are 1 3/8th's long. The silver is thick and has 70 grams combined weight. This is a very rare design with a rich presence and a soft touch to the silver. All pieces properly hallmarked for Margot de Taxco Taller. Margot was a premier designer in the Mexican Silver Renaissance and certainly the most accomplished female artist.

Before William Spratling brought Taxco to life, popular jewelry all over the world was being made by spinning silver and turning it into beautiful designs in filigree. This is one of those early pieces. This example has 3 glowing gold sheen obsidian stones 1 inch tall. The process was time consuming and Mexican smiths were among the best in the world at producing florals, sweeps, and swirls. The center drop is 1.5in. tall and 17.5in. wearable length...

A modernist sterling silver heavy link bracelet signed Gra Wun for the Scottsdale Arizona jeweler Ray Graves. The links slope towards one direction for a three dimensional effect.
