A rare and early first design period 980 silver bracelet by William Spratling with 6 hats alternating with rows of three balls.

Measures 7" long and 7/8" at the widest. Marked with the conjoined WS, 980 and Taxco on a cartouche on the back. Has a slide in pin closure.

The bracelet has a dark patina. There is a slight bit of stiffness to the hinges. The pin closure is tight. Has some minor nicks and scratches as seen with pieces of this age.

A true find for the collector.

This beautiful pendant has a cool design. It features a bezel-set Eilat gemstone. The top disk has a diameter of 1 1/8". The colorful stone has a diameter of 3/4". Next, there dangles 3 convex disks suspending (left to right) 2 1/2", 3", 2 1/2". This piece is in excellent condition.

A first design period sterling silver cuff bracelet by William Spratling. This cuff, known as the 'Dog Bone', measures 5 3/4" around with an opening of 1 3/8" and 7/8" wide at the ends. Probably could be slightly adjusted if needed. Marked with the incised WS with Spratling Made in Mexico in a circle mark, and Sterling. Has some minor scratches and tarnish and some very tiny dings. A true find for the collector.

An outstanding vintage modernist sterling silver necklace and earrings by studio jeweler, Fridl Blumenthal. Signed with her Tulip mark on the necklace and FRIDL, Sterling, Tulip, and the number 32 on each earring. The findings on the earrings are also marked sterling. Heavy sterling silver with sterling overlay on niello. Necklace measures approximately 14" around and the 'pendant' is 1" wide. Earrings measure 1 1/4" long and 3/4" across. Made by Margot Van Voorheis this necklace proves that not all great things come in big packages. The workmanship is complicated to say the least. The entire 15in. chain is composed of the tiniest granulated beads which are then channel set throughout with each links length measuring 3/16th of an inch. Nine perfect teardrop dangles are the center piece attracting much attention and the drop is 1in. tall and 2.75in. across...

A thin bangle with textured surface is set with four faceted natural rubies. They are bezel mounted with open backs, securely soldered to the bangle. The rubies are highly included and probably untreated; one has slight surface abrasions. The bangle has a 2 ½-inch internal diameter, and an inner circumference of about 8 inches. Each setting measures about ½ inch by 3/8 inch. The bangle is 1/16 inch wide. It is marked 925 for sterling silver.

A stunning Margot De Taxco # 5258 matching necklace and bracelet set. The necklace entails a 5 inch inside diameter, 16 inch total length, and a 120 gram weight. The bracelet has a 7 inch total length and 51 gram weight. This is super heavy and built with quality. The two pieces hook together for a rich chain. A perfect matching set for any occasion!

Amethyst sterling screwback earrings by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1947. They each have a cabochon amethyst which measures 3/4" in diameter. They are appropriately signed. One of the stones has a natural fracture(see photo #1) which is very highlighted in the ENLARGED photo #1, but does not appear that way in person. An amazing modernist sterling silver ring with an abstract figural design signed with what looks like JPC, Iceland and 925S. Measures about a size 7- 7.5. The top sits 1/2" high and measures about 7/8" across and 1 3/8" long. Has an interesting hammered texture. Really stands out! Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

These wondrous bumble bees are a Margot de Taxco signed creation. She is known for her fantastic enamel work. The earring clamps work and are the thickest best working clampers I have put on. The enamel is PERFECT. These are a published design in the Penny Morrill books on the Mexican Silver Renaissance.

A rare pendant by Sigi Pineda of a detailed Pre Columbian figure in sterling silver currently suspended from a sterling neck ring.

Pendant measures 1 5/8" across and 2" high. Weighs 23 gr. Thick sterling. The sterling neck ring measures about 18" around and has a secure hook clasp. Has a large bale so could also be worn on a thick chain or cord.

Pendant is marked with the Sigi script hallmark, Mex and 925. Has another partial Mex on another place at the back...

Early sterling silver SB earrings attached to a card that reads: Original Jewelry by Frances H. Boothby, then Art Shop Munson - Williams - Proctor Institute, then Utica, New York without a zip code making this pre 1960's.
The original box also has the Art Shop info sticker. The mark of "fhb" could be under the screw back findings which are marked Sterling and are identical to others on FHB earrings...
