This sterling and parcel gilt link bracelet is composed of cast turbaned heads; the headdresses are gilded. There is a secure hook closure, with no signs of metal stress. This bracelet is constructed of six hinged panels designed as leaves and berries, with a fold-over hook clasp. It is marked on the back of the clasp with the Mexican maker’s mark of ETD, which is unidentified. It has a nice warm patina, and two of the berries have very minor impact marks. A substantial bangle bracelet decorated with impressed and oxidized geometric designs. The pattern goes all the way around the bangle and appears to be random, giving it a quirky yet sophisticated look. It is marked sterling and dates around 1970 or earlier. This .875 silver bracelet is composed of square panels decorated with embossed rosettes and connected by horizontal wires wound around bars. It has a secure tongue-and-groove clasp; the tongue bears the Latvian .875 silver hallmarks for 1922-1940, with maker’s mark of BR. (Latvia was an independent country during these years; it was part of the Soviet Union 1940-1991.) The bracelet measures 8 inches long by a little over 5/8 inches wide. Weight: 43.2 grams

Here is a continuous sterling silver cable chain of nice heft, with a working swivel clasp marked sterling. The chain itself tests for sterling as well, and is sturdily made. The piece dates around 1920. The chain measures 28 inches inches long, and the bail and swivel add another inch. Weight: 29.3 grams

The pendant is composed of hollow construction, with a sharply molded flower border and hammered center. It is probably Danish, made in the 1940s-1950s, and is marked 800 on the back to indicate silver content. There is a tiny hole in one of the flower centers, as shown in the photos. Caricaturesque in the most endearing, spirit-lifting way this vintage Mexican silver fish brooch will put a smile on your face no matter rain or shine! Executed in confident repoussage which adds sculpturality and drama to a highly detailed body, it has a cheerful amethyst eye and thick, exaggerated lips. It looks to me as if it's singing down there in the deep - I can almost see tiny air bubbles coming out of its mouth. Measuring 2 3/4" long by 7/8" wide the brooch weighs 12.6 grams...

A lightly hammered sterling silver bangle bracelet signed by the artist, Walter Tofel of Bennington, Vermont. Tofel was the manager at the Ed Levin store in Bennington in 1970 where he learned his craft. He began making his own jewelry designs which he sold at craft fairs and later out of his home.

This bracelet has lightly hammered curved sides and flatten areas. It is oval so can easily be slipped on and off.

This handsome, handmade Italian sterling silver bracelet by Peruzzi is composed of linked openwork oval and round frames holding applied flowers and leaves. The flowers look to have been hand constructed, petal-by-petal. The hook clasp and safety chain are very secure; the inside of the bracelet bears the Peruzzi and sterling marks. The surface is highly tarnished, despite an attempt at cleaning; it can be brightened up a bit more...

A vintage modernist sterling silver ring by Anna Greta Eker for Norway Designs Studio Plus in the ball or jester design. Made from 5 interlaced prongs with balls at the ends.

Marked with ND, AGE, +, Sterling 925S, and Norway. Currently about a size 6 1/2, but can be adjusted a little. In nice condition with minor nicks and surface scratches. Thick sterling.

A fine example of this popular modernist design.

Five large cabochons with pink banding are set in sterling silver frames that are deeply oxidized and embossed with a ridged design. They are linked by oblong rings that are similarly decorated. The highly polished stones are securely prong set and show no scratches or other signs of wear; they may be rhodochrosites, which were popular in the 1950s. The fold-over clasp is very secure and in good working order. The bracelet is unmarked, but tests definitively for sterling...

Shaped as stylized heads, they are hollow cast and pierced for stringing. Faces show on both sides of the beads. One bead has a casting imperfection on one side (see Photo #1); the other side is intact. There are a total of 19 beads; strung together they measure 9 inches long. They are possibly Mexican. Weight: 21.6 grams total

This textured cuff bracelet features a pocked surface and is decorated with applied half-beads of molded silver. The piece is unmarked, but definitively tests as silver, possibly sterling. Its surface exhibits areas of oxidation, and a couple of areas where the texture didn’t take in the molding process. The bracelet measures 1 ½ inches wide, with an interior circumference of just under 7 inches, including the 1 ¼-inch opening between the terminals. Weight: 52.3 grams
