Here is an interesting portrait in silver, of a wind-swept young person clad in a cloak and hood. It’s very detailed and just lovely. We think it’s a boy (very unusual in jewelry), as the hair seems to be quite short under the hood. The hood itself looks like a cap made from a flower, as seen on fairies in Victorian children’s books. It measures 1-1/8” wide, is hollow, and is marked “STERLING TOP GERMAN SILVER BACK”. The sterling front is in very good condition...

The pendant is worked with very attractive enameled cells in shades of teal, cream and rose. German Art Nouveau pieces from the Pforzheim school tend to be more linear and symmetrical than those from France, and this piece is a classic example...

Stunning antique Austro Hungarian silver Renaissance revival necklace with six very large genuine turquoise stones, three in robin's egg blue, and three in dark green. Circa 1900. Marked 830 on the main clasp and 925 on the clasp of the extender (more on the extender below). 830 silver was made in Austria-Hungary. Both pieces also have the same maker's mark, which looks like a conjoined HOH.

Stunning heavy and substantial early silver wide curved link bracelet. Marked 835. Austrian or German. Circa 1900 or earlier. Substantial at 53 grams. With an ornate Etruscan revival design comprised of many large and small applied silver beads. With a slide clasp and safety catch. The backgrounds of the curved links have a fabulous oxidized gunmetal finish.

A delightful late Victorian or Edwardian pendant in the form of a poodle jumping through a hoop. The wonderfully detailed poodle is cast in sterling silver and the hoop is 14K gold. The dog is fully three-dimensional, and the eyes are set with small pyrope garnets. The pendant is marked “14K Sterling.”

An elegant Art Nouveau silver brooch depicting a maiden smelling a rose. She is surrounded in a bower of climbing roses and enclosed in a frame of whiplash curves typical of French Art Nouveau. A lovely Art Nouveau pendant worked in silver and 10K yellow gold. The pendant consists of an openwork triangular silver plaque with a pair of plique-a-jour enameled mistletoe leaves below a band of opals and above a band of brilliant green moldavites, themselves over a square-cut pink tourmaline suspending a semi-baroque pearl drop. The whole is suspended from a round brilliant cut pink tourmaline set in gold. The combination of colored gemstones is lovely and nicely accents the enamel...

Adorable and sweet silver pin in the form of a turtle with beautifully variegated turquoise stones on its back, and red cabochon stones as eyes. Classic Arts & Crafts materials and form, circa 1900 or earlier. The pin back is gold, and may have been added or replaced more recently. A very charming little piece.

Sold, no price, no info. Wide "C" Catch, Tube Hinge, Circa 1900 Sash Buckle Ornament Pin Brooch made in nearby Attleboro MA by and stamped with the "E. A. Bliss" Co mark which later became the Napier Co. This hefty 1 oz, 2 7/8 X 1 5/8" Sash Buckle Ornament Pin Brooch was once silver plated and now shows traces of that in the mid open cut work section while the rest is a rich brass. Please note the two 5 X 9 mm faceted citrine colored faceted stones...

A classic Pforzheim school silver Jugendstil brooch decorated with plique-a-jour enamels, moldavite and seed pearls. The translucent enamels have the velvety texture and very subtle coloring typical of many Pforzheim jewels of the period. The reverse is marked "Depose 900" and has the maker's mark for Karl Hermann (Hermann & Speck), one of the leading German Art Nouveau jewelers.

Origin: Germany, ca. 1900. Condition: very good, some light crazing to enamel, but no unstable or missing pieces...

A delightfully feisty-looking cat is featured in the French Art Nouveau brooch. We’re particularly fond of his enormously long whiskers that stretch the full width of the pin. The pin is stamped with French silver marks and with an illegible maker’s mark.

This is a Victorian shell cameo brooch deeply carved to depict a woman strolling in a wooded village and set within a silver twisted-ribbon oval frame and twisted wire border; good condition having a small hairline crack; measurement: 2 _ in. x 2 _ in. oval.

A cute, diminutive Victorian fob seal in the form of a silver toga-clad monkey sitting atop a gold base. His eyes are set with tiny cabochon garnets. The base is formed from a faceted carnelian and has never been engraved. Tested and guaranteed silver and 18K.

Gorgeous sterling silver pendant accented with enamel and paste stones. The pendant is comprised of a bale set with old-European cut paste stones, suspending a circle set with 30 paste stones, surrounding an articulated central plaque covered in translucent cobalt blue enamel punctuated with a finely worked silver floral motif set with paste.
