Hand made sterling and whale ivory pin showing Eskimo catching a fish, Alaska, c.1960's. The detailed pin has an ivory face and fish. Of good size and weight, the piece measures 2 1/2" wide and long. A Mid Century Modernist pair of screw back earrings in a sterling silver oyster or floral design signed Macefield for William Mason and Leonard Field, American studio jewelers who worked in Massachusetts in the 1940's -70's.

These earrings measure 1" across. Screw backs hold securely. Signed Macefield Sterling on the back of each earring. The screw backs are also signed Sterling.

This ring is a size 11 1/2 (can be resized, of course). It has a cool design, almost foil-like (see pictures). It's just over 1/2" at its highest. It is marked 925. It's a wonderful piece in excellent condition.

Interesting sterling ring from Finland with a lovely rutilated quartz cabochon stone. The table measures over 1" long, and the stone stands 4/8" tall. The ring has the crown symbol, is marked "925, Made in Finland," and has an abstract hallmark which I do not recognize, along with the mark "U7" which means it was made between 1954 - 1977. size 6.5. In excellent vintage condition.

Artisan crafted sterling choker necklace. The necklace is constructed of thick, solid sterling silver, terminating in dramatic long spikes. The opening is 5", and the necklace weighs 47 grams, 1.66oz. Unmarked but tests as sterling silver or higher.

A modernist sterling silver hand wrought cuff bracelet and/or spiral triangular earrings by Lore Garrick, (1920-2013). Lore Garrick made hand crafted jewelry in NYC in the 1950s. Known as 'Mother Lore' because her son became Tamal Krishna Goswami, she made the first pieces of jewelry for the Hare Krishna movement in Los Angeles.

This sterling silver pin is composed of a stem with four leaves, two of them with incised veins, and a stylized bulrush applied to the back. The clever bulrush design is made of curled silver wire wound around a curving silver rod. The back bears the mark of Anton Michelsen, Copenhagen, Denmark, as well as the name ‘Rougie,’ which may refer to the design or the designer, Gertrud Engel...

This lovely pin is composed of lacy, intricate sterling filigree work surrounding an oval-shaped piece of carnelian. One delicate filigree band is gilded and the other is highly oxidized for contrast. There is a gilded rollover clasp of good quality, probably added later to replace a C-clasp but contemporary to the period of 1950s-1960s. The stone shows no wear or scratching. The back exhibits the words “Italy” and “sterling.” The pin measures 1 ¾ inches long by 1 ½ inches wide.

A lovely sterling cuff with stamping by Navajo silversmith Johnny Mike Begay. The brother of Kenneth Begay, he worked alongside him at the White Hogan Shop in Scottsdale, Arizona as well as privately and won numerous awards for his jewelry which can be found in many private and museum collections. His work was featured in the 2002 exhibit “Jewels of the Southwest” at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture in Santa Fe, NM...

An enameled violin is suspended from an enameled treble clef, both enhanced with marcasite. The clef bears a rollover clasp on the back, and the violin is marked Germany/sterling silver. When worn with the clef at a slight angle, the 1960s pin measures approximately 2 inches long by ¾ inch wide at the violin. Weight: 5.2 grams

An interesting, heavy organic ring by the Swedish Modernist Jeweler, Isaac Cohen. Marked Isaac Cohen, ICO for the maker, Town Mark for Stockholm, National Mark, Silver Standard, and date code for 1967. Isaac Cohen was the owner of Galarie 22, a fashionable jewelry store in Stockholm. Top measures about 1 1/8" long and 1 1/8" across. Sits about 5/8" high off the shank. Ring is between an 8 - 8 1/2. Looks like someone may have previously sized it...
