Unusual and very large arts & crafts sterling/moonstones/garnets double pin, c.1910. Made of very heavy gauge silver(90 grams) these two hand made designs with applied decorative silver work are attached with a double silver chain. Marked "STERLING", they are are in excellent condition. The dimensional left hand piece measures 3 3/4" long by 1 3/8" wide. The right hand piece is 3" long by 1 5/8" wide. Each has one moonstone and garnet. One of a kind - I've never seen work like this before...

An Edwardian heavily engraved long bar straight pin brooch from around 1910. This pin measures 2-1/2" x 3/16" and it has a deeply tooled swirl design and dentate (tooth-like) border. Modernism at it's best, this 970 silver & inlaid shell bracelet was designed & signed c. 1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). Measuring 1 1/2" high at the front with a wearable interior length of 6 3/4", the bracelet weighs 86 grams & is in beautiful condition. The slide in clasp & safety chain are tight & secure. This rare set of five hand wrought 1930's sterling silver heart shaped buttons were designed & signed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling in the 1930's. Each button measures 3/4" X 3/4". All are in beautiful condition & each is signed on the reverse with the early WS hallmark. In our 30+ years of collecting Spratling we have never come across this design.

A stunning beaded necklace in carved genuine malachite with genuine coral spacers, with a beautifully detailed pendant in the form of a face or mask. Probably circa 1900 or 1910. Possibly Italian. The pendant is held in a silver frame; the slide clasp is marked 14K. From a Pittsburgh estate.

This is a Mexican silver vintage Margot de Taxco necklace that bares an early design #5204. The piece is almost 16in. long and sits on the neck .75in. tall. The earrings weigh 15 grams and is 7/8th in. wide and is 1 1/8in. tall. The necklace is impeccably made and weighs 99 grams. It is in perfect condition and is properly hallmarked as shown. This one is hard to let go of and is breathtaking, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Innovative design by Chicago "brutalist" artist Richard Bitterman, circa 1970s. Made of steel and brass industrial scrap metal. The expressive pendant measures over 3.5" in diameter and is extremely solid and heavy. The brass neck ring is approx. 4" in diameter. Signed "Richard Bitterman" on the front. A double row of petals composed of gilded sterling silver and enameled in deep red adds a bit of drama to this late-1960s flower pin. A cross-hatch grid pattern of guilloche work under the enamel enhances the design. There is a secure rollover clasp on the back, with a maker’s mark of a crown and marks for sterling and Norway. It measures 2 ¼ inches across by 2 ½ inches long, including the stem. Weight: 22.8 grams

Being offered is an exceedingly rare circa 1940 sterling silver bracelet by Fred Davis of Taxco, Mexico. Early piece by one of the pioneers of the premiere Taxco Silver ateliers. Handwrought panels featuring alternating tribal masks and triangular panels with oxidized detail; supported by incised links. Dimensions: 7” size, panels are 3/4" wide. Marked as illustrated. In excellent condition.

These great earrings are made by NAPEIR, during the 1950's-1960's. They were designed during NAPIER's sterling silver line that incorporated floral motifs and geometric shapes. They also introduced their modern design pieces with popular, mid-century Mexican and Scandinavian designs. They are clip backs and measure 7/8" x 1/4". They are marked NAPIER STERLING PAT. PEND. and PAT. NO: 154859 for 1950's. They are in excellent condition.

Matl Matilde Poulat opened her shop in 1931.(Pack Davis) She with her nephew Salas produced folk art jewels that are sought after today. This signed example is studded with turquoise and clear, faceted amethyst squares. The silver work shows itself as an excellent example that is 7 in. long and 1.75in. tall. The weight is heavy at 63 grams as a bracelet with open air filigree. Collectors will not be disappointing with this bracelet.

Being offered is a rare circa 1955 sterling silver and obsidian stone bracelet by Alfredo Villasana of Taxco, Mexico. The handcrafted thick gauge silver cuff set with a large round obsidian stone secured by four spiral prong settings, secured with box clasp. Villasana worked for William Spratlng and Hector Aguilar before opening his own shop in Taxco. Dimensions: Size 8”; stone is 1 3/4" by 2 1/4"; band is 3/4" wide. Marked as illustrated. In excellent condition.
