A vintage sterling silver abstract modernist ring from the shop of Walter Wright, a Los Angeles jeweler. Wright was an associate of Margaret De Patta and sold her work and other modernist jewelry. A five sided central design with three dimensional circles and bars coming off a blackened background. Approximately a size 10. Marked Walter Wright Sterling. Has some tarnish, a few scratches on the back of the band and a little wear to the black. Great example of mid-century modern studio jewelry.

A beautiful and rare 950 silver bracelet with cabochon stones of amethyst,green beryl, pink tourmaline, and citrine by Brazilian jeweler Haroldo Burle Marx who was the brother of Roberto Burle Marx, also a jeweler and notable landscape architect. A vintage heavy sterling brooch depicting a gnarled branch by the noted Maine Silversmith, Condon Kuhl. There is also a sterling pendant in the shape of a Ginko leaf by the same artist. The pendant can be hooked onto the branch and worn together.

A Native American tribal sterling silver bar brooch circa 1920s-30s. This unsigned 2-1/2 x 3/8" pin is in the style of Fred Harvey, and it features a natural green turquoise cabochon stone and symbolic engraving, with snakes, arrows and the sun. This traditional, Norwegian solje pin, c. 1950’s, was made by Aksel Holmsen. It has an appealing stamped design and six dangling, concave disks. The back is signed, “NORWAY STERLING 925 S,” and has the Holmsen maker’s mark (2 overlapping silversmith tools--see pictures). The brooch has a C-catch and a diameter of 1”. It is in excellent condition.

Made of interlocking solid box links, this sterling silver chain has a sturdy feel and appears to have been hand-assembled. It has a novel W-shaped clasp. It is unmarked, but tests as sterling silver. The links are well designed and have a smooth, snake-like movement. The chain measures 26 ½ inches long, unclasped. The links measure about 1/8 inch thick. Weight: 28.1 grams

A Statement bangle bracelet comprising a grouping of multiple chains in a twist design to create a chain mail result. Dimensions: size 7 1/2 x 1 1/4 inches by 1 1/4 inches. Marked as illustrated. In excellent condition.

Margot de Taxco, Margot van Voorhies Carr shows off sheer genius in this 5127 design. Rare and 1.25in. wide make you stop and take a longer look. Heavy at approximately 70 grams of repousse swirls and beads which make an abstract image of swans swimming. Anything that looks like a dent is reflection or a spot of tarnish. This is an incredibly clean bracelet.
