From his third design period, this design is shown on the Spratling Silver website. Described as "round urns with three feet of silver and obsidian". These are collector quality, and this design is very seldom seen. They are very comfortable to wear, have beautiful movement, and look fabulous on. Measures 1 3/8" tall with a width of 11/16". This is a very early work from Sigi Pineda, and dates to the early 1950's when he first opened his own shop. The shop was named "Plateros", later renamed "Sigi".

It's an amazing piece, with three huge red coral branches in a modernist setting which is sterling silver with 14k gold plated over it. The gold is perfect and even throughout, both front and back. The coral measures from 2 1/4" to 2 1/16"...

Minimalist hand made silver ring with rhodocrosite ball, c.1960's. Clean modernism with the look of Scandinavian design it is size 6 1/2. A vintage Mexican silver and amethyst large brooch reminiscent of the work of Antonio Pineda and Hubert Harmon. Has a large carved amethyst stone as the face and amethyst cabochons at the end of each earring.

Signed Mexico Silver in an oval. Pre Eagle, (pre 1949). Measures 2 1/2" across and 4 3/4" high.

The silver repousse work is in fine condition. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. The brooch has some minor tarnish...

This silver pendant, of abstract design, is randomly decorated with cabochon carnelians. The back exhibits two bails to string a chain through. There is a partial maker’s mark on the reverse and possibly two other marks. The pendant tests silver, and could be European. It measures 2 ¾ inches wide by 2 inches long. Gross weight: 26.4 grams

An Art Deco style silver bracelet from Mexico with seven bullet shaped prong set amethyst cabochons. The stones have some inclusions.

Marked Mexico Silver on the back. Probably 980 which is better than sterling and was commonly used at the time. Measures 6 1/2" long, 1/2" wide and 3/4" high. Box clasp holds securely.

The stones are held in place by long hand made prongs. The stones wiggle a little bit. The clasp has a curled hand made button. Has minor surfaces scratches and tarnish...

This vintage set is made of 950 silver. The brooch measures 2 1/2" x 1 1/2". It has a nice, engraved scene (as do the earrings). The brooch has a trombone closure and is marked SILVER 950. The matching earrings are screw backs and marked SILVER 950, as well. The top of the screw backs are marked SILVER with a hallmark of an A. The Suite weighs 1/2 ounce and is circa 1940s-1960s.
