This lovely bracelet exhibits quality workmanship. It features nine linked discs decorated with exquisite bands of turquoise enamel work embedded with metal strands, possibly silver. Each disc is ringed by intricately embossed frames of flowers and leaves. The double-hook clasp is very secure. The bracelet measures 7 inches long. It is unmarked except for the word ‘Silver’ impressed on each end disc; the silver tests definitely as sterling. Dating would be around 1950...

Designer’s mark for Salovaara: an ice bear, 925, A for the city of Abo (Finnish: Turku) where Salovaara had his workshop and U7 = year mark for 1972. The back of the loop with the mark for import to Sweden (three crowns in an oval an S). To the underside there is an engraved date, probably for the time of presentation to a former owner...

A reticulated sterling silver pendant of geometric elements and elongated bale, suspended from an .830 silver chain. Both bear the marks of H.C. Østrem of Drammen; it's very unusual to find a pendant by this maker with its original chain. The script maker's mark also is not often seen. The entire necklace measures15 inches long with the chain doubled, including the 3-inch-long pendant. Weight: 23.6 grams, total
This Reja brooch is sterling with no vermeil and with rhinestones. Reja sterling pieces with large stones in the center can be dated to 1945-1946. The stones were produced by the Oval Company. This tree frog is 2.5" x 1 3/8". It is in excellent vintage condition except it needs polishing.

Sized for a man (yet resizable by a jeweler to fit a woman as well) this vintage Mexican silver and carved amethyst "mask" ring attracted me with its unusual brutalist setting. I don't think I have ever encountered a "mask" in a brutalist ring and I was quite thrilled with the discovery despite the fact that the stone was showing its age and the shank was burdened with a huge blob of solder thanks to somebody's clumsy attempt at resizing...
I love the old hand made flies. They are so realistic and these are in 2 sizes. One is 1.75in. long and 1.25in. wide. This one is a pre-1948 980 TAXCO hallmark and weighs 6 grams heavy. The other is a bit smaller but not without detail measuring 1.5in...

A vintage sterling silver hand wrought bangle bracelet and brooch by the well regarded silversmith, Herman Glendenning, (1906-1977). Glendenning worked for the prominent silversmith Arthur Stone and attained the Master Craftsman rank of the Society of Arts and Crafts, Boston, in 1927.
