This is a very rare bracelet from Los Castillo, executed in 980 silver. One of their earliest pieces before they added design numbers with their hallmark. A wonderfully crafted sterling silver necklace and bracelet by noted Arts and Crafts metalsmith, Clemens Friedell. Made of oval links with raised roses.

The bracelet is composed of three links. It is marked Clemens Friedell Pasadena Sterling on the back side of the hook clasp. It measures 7" long and 1 1/2" at the widest. Better for a smaller wrist. The hook clasp holds securely. There is a hammer rub or scrape on the outside of the hook.

This is an antique Scottish silver pebble florette pin that is 2 1/4” in diameter and is heavy and really well made. Very modern mid century pin earrings set stamped and signed STERLING REBAJES on the pin only as the moderne screwback earrings are just stamped Sterling on the turn wheels.
Rebajes' foreman was Otto R Bade and also made these in the same mid century modern style. This pair however, is made and marked by the former.

This is a Victorian shell cameo brooch deeply carved to depict a woman strolling in a wooded village and set within a silver twisted-ribbon oval frame and twisted wire border; good condition having a small hairline crack; measurement: 2 _ in. x 2 _ in. oval.

There are some pieces of jewelry that simply defy any effort to photograph them. And this stunning Taxco modernist sterling silver and blue spinel hinged bangle is one of them - a really tough one at that too! A vintage modernist silver necklace with a large central pendant by the master sculptor and artist from Ecuador, Oswaldo Guayasamin. The central pendant measures 2 3/4" long and 3/4" wide. Also measures 3/4" deep. The pendant has a textured front surface and polished sides and back. The pendant has an additional silver squiggle with what looks like onyx beads suspended in front of the textured surface. It moves independently.

Unsigned and astonishing on. Tested for sterling and then some. The S swirls are repousse and large at 1.75in. long. The total weight is 81 grams heavy. The silver feels buttery soft and it has a dark natural patina that defines how wonderful this old work of art is. All hand made and follows a Patania Sr. feel when on. Because it is unmarked I have to put into a category to list. I believe it is either Old Mexican or an old Southwestern necklace. Just fabulous, LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!
