A sterling silver modernist brooch by Helen Scheier Adelman, (1909-1999), American Mid Century jeweler. This brooch depicts two antelope in thick polished sterling with a darker bumpy surface enamel background.

Measures 1 3/8" tall and 1 1/8" at the widest. Signed Adelman and Sterling on the back. Nice contrast between the darkened rough and shiny layers. Rollover clasp holds securely. Has some minor surface scratches.

Classic Adelman design.

A pair of sterling silver screw back earrings in a mid century modernist design. We have seen only one other pair in almost the exact design signed Ed Wiener. Constructed of a layer of oxidized sterling with a contrasting polished curved sterling wire overlay.

The earrings measure 1 1/4" high and 7/8" across and hold securely. They are marked with Sterling, hand wrought and a partial W in a triangle. The screw part is marked Sterling.

A vintage pair of figural screw back earrings attributed to Ex-pat Ken Beldin in copper and patinated brass. Screw backs are marked Silver Mexico.

This sterling silver charm is 3 dimensional. It has wonderful detail, depicting a Cocker Spaniel dog. It stands 1 1/8" tall and is 1/2" at its widest. It has a good heft and is in excellent condition.

This interesting pin is constructed of four flat, interlocking rings and has a nice heft to it. The rollover clasp is original to the piece and in good working order. The back bears the maker's mark of a conjoined HT, an unidentified silversmith who also worked with Estela Popowski, as well as independently. Danish silversmith Gertrude Engel made this unique, modernist ring. Her signature is found on many Anton Michelsen pieces, along with the AM crown maker’s mark (as she designed for that firm). This ring, however, is solely signed by her (see pictures). The rounded band of heavy gauge silver is 1/2” wide. It has a cluster of 10 bezel set carnelian cabochons. It is signed “Gengel,” in script (her maker’s mark), and “925S” and is in excellent condition. It is about a size 5.

This spectacular necklace is the work of Matilde Poulat, produced before 1960.
