This vintage set is made of 950 silver. The brooch measures 2 1/2" x 1 1/2". It has a nice, engraved scene (as do the earrings). The brooch has a trombone closure and is marked SILVER 950. The matching earrings are screw backs and marked SILVER 950, as well. The top of the screw backs are marked SILVER with a hallmark of an A. The Suite weighs 1/2 ounce and is circa 1940s-1960s.

Featuring bridge-like connectors and open rectangular links, this 1960s sterling silver link bracelet features an abstract design characterized by both lightness and visual heft. It appears to have a lacquered finish to keep the silver bright, and is marked 925 on the back of one rectangular link. Not much is known about Industria Argentina, except that they produced exceptionally designed and crafted jewelry in the 1950s and '60s. This weighty silver ring is typical of their purist modernist aesthetic.

Wonderful circa 1970s silver plate with gold gilt necklace by Danish designer Jacob Hull. Heavyweight and solid, with three shiny, articulated discs hanging from a solid necklace. Composed of adjoined silver circles with overlaid oval textured panels, this bracelet embodies all the elements of superb Italian design. This bracelet is constructed of six hinged panels designed as leaves and berries, with a fold-over hook clasp. It is marked on the back of the clasp with the Mexican maker’s mark of ETD, which is unidentified. It has a nice warm patina, and two of the berries have very minor impact marks. The bracelet measures 7 1/4 inches long by 3/4 inch wide. Weight: 34.4 grams

Made of interlocking solid box links, this sterling silver chain has a sturdy feel and appears to have been hand-assembled. It has a novel W-shaped clasp. It is unmarked, but tests as sterling silver. The links are well designed and have a smooth, snake-like movement. The chain measures 26 ½ inches long, unclasped. A pair of vintage modernist sterling silver earrings by the well known Mid Century NYC jeweler, Henry Steig. Geometric sterling layered design. They are opposites so will frame the face when worn.

Warm patina. Screw backs hold securely. Measure about 7/8" long and 3/4" across. Marked Steig Sterling on the backs and Sterling on the screw parts. Well made.

Fine MCM design.

This attractive pin features an openwork, foliate design, with a Jensen-inspired aesthetic. The pin has a substantial look and feel, representing a quality Danecraft line from the 1940s. It bears the Felch and Co. mark on the back, as well as marks for Danecraft and sterling silver. The pin measures a little over 1 5/8 inches long by 1 1/8 inches wide. Gross weight: 9.5 grams (pin stem is not silver).

Decorated with applied wirework rosettes, this hoop necklace has an Asian feel, but sports Austrian import marks (hard to see in the photo). It is continuous, and doesn’t appear to have ever had a clasp. The necklace has a nice weight and a dramatic, contemporary look. The Austrian mark for silver content is illegible, but the necklace is probably .800 or .835 fineness; the mark indicates a registration in Vienna. Doubled, it measures about 14 ½ inches long. Set with nine square, faceted faux garnets mounted in closed-back settings. The pin features an openwork silver frame nicely detailed with molded flowers and beads. The silver retains a light layer of gilding; the glass pieces are in lovely condition with points substantially intact. On the reverse are some indentations that may be obscured marks and signs of a removed watch hook. The C-clasp is quite sturdy and secure. The brooch measures 1 ½ inches across. The dating is conservative.

This 1960s necklace features narrow, vertical panels of graduated length with a textured surface decorated with pink and yellow gilding; the edges show a bit of darker oxidation. Competently constructed and designed to sit flat and move gracefully when worn; all panels are in place and show no signs of wear.
