A nice c1814 example of a Frederick Buck miniature of a woman in a blue dress. The backing of the mini has "Caroline ??? 1814". Presented in what might be the original frame, which measures 4 3/4" by 4 1/8". The sight size is 2 3/4" by 2 1/8". Excellent condition.

The portrait is dated 1805, and while not signed, stylistically it would most likely would have been done either by Hazlehurst or John Barry...
