A large lithograph print, the sheet 28 1/2" by 22 3/4", unframed, signed at center right with his monogram "JR" and star symbol, dated there 1950. This is a work of American illustrator artist JAMES REYNOLDS (1896-1996). The imagery of flowers and leaves reminds of the work of American twentieth century artist Charles Burchfield. Reynolds is often confused in art auction records and biographies with western American contemporary artist James Reynolds.

By well listed French artist MAURICE ROMBERG DE VAUCORBEIL (1882-1943), this is a large original 1916 lithograph poster used for propaganda and recruitment. The poster (behind Plexiglas) measures 47 1/2" by 34" (53" by 40" very tastefully framed in dark wood). I have not opened this up to inspect as it is nicely sealed, but the previous owner spent $500 on framing in Beverly Hills, so I would imagine that the mounting and framing was done to professional standards, perhaps even with linen...

Duval Co. of Philadelphia circa 1856, after a bust portrait by the noted American artist Rembrandt Peale (1778-1860). The print has fresh bright colors, although it is evenly rumpled from age (no creases, just not a flat surface). A very interesting and scarce double-page color lithograph print by the famous Spanish artist, JOAN MIRO (1893-1983), published in 1961 in "Derriere Le Miroir", measurements inside the mat 14 1/2" x 21", 21" by 27" as framed in metal frame. The perfect, classic addition to your contemporary interior. Condition seems to be very good overall, I note just a little browning, probably from tape residue showing from the reverse side, at very top and even less at very bottom...

A PAIR of lithographs, one of a male, another of a woman, the larger work 24" by 17 3/4" inside the mat (28 1/2" by 22 1/4" framed), the other 19" by 16 3/4" (23 1/2" by 21" framed), both signed in Hebrew in the plate, the larger print numbered 1/50 at lower left in pencil. The works are in black ink though the larger piece exhibits faint blue in the background and light red in the cap. The larger piece has two short edge tears, one at upper left (about 2"), the other at top (about 3/4").

A circa 1940's restrike print of the popular ice skating scene from "American Winter Scenes" series, measuring 17" by 23 3/4" inside the mat and 23 3/4" by 30 1/2" framed. The title was evidently cut off from central bottom portion at one point and was then affixed to reverse side. Coloring is in the print most likely and not hand coloring.
