A double signed photogravure done by the son of Douglas Volk circa 1900 with a drawing of the Volk Life Mask of Lincoln and a drawing of the hand of Lincoln in the selvage. As a footnote, this work was presented by Douglas Volk to Daniel Chester French (1850-1931) as a gift on the occasion of the dedication of the Lincoln Memorial in 1922.

Lithograph on paper, 7 1/2" by 4 1/2" (13 1/8" by 10" as framed), signed in pencil at lower right by the noted German Jewish artist HERMANN STRUCK (1876-1944). The subject is a man wearing a cap. Struck was born in Berlin or Orthodox Jewish parentage. Early in his life he met the Zionist leader Theodor Herzl (1860-1904), a meeting which profoundly influenced the artist. Struck's most desirable subject matter, scenes of Israel from the late 1920's, have brought to the $25,000 area at auction...

Lovis Corinth 1858-1925 German This is a fine original lithograph by German artist Lovis Corinth. The title Tal Grund (The Valley) from the series Vorfruhling im Gebirge (early spring in the Mountains). It was published by Euphorion Verlag, Berlin in 1922 in an edition of 125 impressions. This was part of a series of 5 lithographs. The image measures 12 3/4X17 inches. Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.

Jules Pascin 1885-1930 French This is an orignal pencil signed lithograph by French artist Jules Pascin, the title is: Le Lever, created and printed 1925, the image measures 10 1/4X7 7/8 inches. catalog Hermin 5. An example of a lithograph print after the famous 1924 painting "Dempsey and Firpo" by the highly important American artist GEORGE BELLOWS (1882-1925). The print is apparently not from the artist and printer-signed edition of 103 which brings upwards of $25,000 when offered at auction. This appears to be a later, posthumous example. Rare early original lithograph by Adolph Dehn (American, 1895-1968), circa 1930. Offered framed under glass. Pencil signed, dated, titled, and numbered 17/30. In very good condition (light paper toning, no foxing or other notable issues). Adolph Dehn was one of the most important American lithographers of the 20th century. (the white streaks on the photos are reflections on the glass.)

I have looked extensively online and have found some other examples of his art, all graphic art, the subject matter including European scenes of castles and cities, and the American subjects including scenes on the Ohio River...
