Pretty vintage Halloween postcard showing a young couple, he dressed as a Pilgrim and she dressed as a Victorian lady, walking along a scary path through the woods. They have just startled a black cat while a pair of witches look on from the background. The card has nice colors. The two lower corners have some creasing, sharp edges. The back is postmarked 1910.

Vintage lithographed tin Halloween pan noisemaker, decorated in green, black, white and orange. The decorations include a witch, a ghost and a skeleton around a cauldron. Wonderful vintage children's Christmas storybook, "Jolly Santa Claus". The cover is printed in full color with a depiction of Santa arriving wiht a decorated tree and a load of toys. The interior has another full-color plate depicting Santa driving his team of reindeer toward his castle at the North Pole. Nearly every page has a black-and-white illustration. The stories are not restricted to Christmas, and include jingles, poems, historical stories, tales, etc. The book was published by M.A...

Very nice embossed Halloween post card illustrating a young girl and boy meeting over the top of a winking jack o'lantern. Two black cats stand watch. The card is dated 1908 and was made by International Art Publishing Co.

Origin: America, 1908. Condition: unused, fairly crisp edges, a tiny crease at lower left corner, a staple hole at the top left corner, bright color.

Fabulous handpainted sheet iron feather tree stand. The Christmas tree stand features three elves contemplating their traditional lucky mushrooms. The elves, one each in blue, red and yellow hooded suits, are seated on little grassy knolls planted with flowers. The painted details are terrific; each elf has completly different facial features than his friends. The center pole is painted green with metallic silver highlights.

This Matchless star Christmas light has amber glass prisms and a cobalt blue glass gem. This is one of the less common color combinations. The base is bakelite and the bulb is C-6. Super vintage celluloid pop-up toy. It's one of the cutest celluloid Easter items I've seen. Mrs. Chick is dresed in a blue and white polka dot dress that conceals a coiled spring that allows her to bob up and down. All her costume is original. Unmarked, but probably American. Circa 1920s. Outstanding condition, no holes or dents. 4" tall.

Fantastic hard plastic candy container in the shape of a hen sitting on a nest. Candies are inserted in the hole in the breast. When the tail is moved up and down, the candies are dispensed out of the bottom of the nest. Perfect for egg-shaped jelly beans! Marked "1964 Ideal Toy Corp." Excellent condition. Size: 6" long, 3-1/2" wide, 8" tall.

Terrific composition Mama Rabbit candy container. Dressed in a blue dress with orange polka dots, Mama carries a wicker basket with a pressed cotton chick in it. Unmarked, but definitely German, circa 1930. Condition: very good, there is a bit of paint flaking on the front of the dress; the wicker basket has a good bit of cracking; the face is especially nice. Size: 6-3/4" tall.

Cute composition Easter chick candy container. The surface is covered lightly with Venetian dew. Unmarked, but probably German, from the late 1940s. Condition: a few nicks on the bill, the top of the head and along the opening in the bottom; the slide bottom is missing. 4-1/4" tall.

Extremely rare red, white and blue blown glass garland perfect for your patriotic Christmas tree. Most bead garlands have painted color, but these are unusual in that the blue and white stripes are actually blown into the glass. These stripes are accented with painted red and gold indents. In fact, this is the only garland I've seen that was made of colored glass! Also note that the beads are graduated and become larger toward the center of the garland.
