Published in 1926 by the Whitman Publishing Company of Racine, Wisconsin, this very seldom-found, miniature-size, softcover book measuring just 4x5 inches, offers a very unique continuation of the original Little Black Sambo story! It is thought that this mini size Sambo book was manufactured as a salesman's sample edition, meant to be strictly used as a marketing prop to sell orders for the full-size edition of the same book...

All Complete and in working order, I suspect this was made in Japan and the instructions booklet was Printed in this case, in France. Plastic Figures are mounted on the metal mechanical windup bases and then it moves around and they fight!!!

Great Graphics on this Tin drum and condition very good, personally I think the tin would display better without all the material around it as the the graphics are great.. Drum Measures - 5.5" in Diameter and just over 6" Tall

Curiously, the M.A. Donohue Company, did not always date their publications as is the case here. They, additionally, were not prolific publishers of the Little Black Sambo story book...

Nicely made piece, I am presuming here that this is for some kind of incense, there is a hole at the side of the head where you would put your incense and smoke would then come out of the eyes... There are a couple of chops to the paint on the base, please see photos

For the fan of professional women's basketball, this is a medium size vintage Women's NBA t-shirt, of the Los Angeles Sparks, dating from approximately 1999 to 2001, signed on the cloth in marker by five or six members of the team. I am not a keen basketball fan or knowledgeable about women's basketball, but I have researched this item online and determined that at least two of the autographs are by Allison Feaster, and Ukari Figgs, and I believe Mwadi Mabika...

In the mid-1800's, an unknown artist painted the face of a young Black boy in warm, soft colors, and unbeknown to the artist, forever immortalized the young boy's image! Since that time a variety of items were been produced in the image of the "Young Black boy with the Torn Hat" or "Johnny Griffin".

This very scarce piece is very much reminiscent of Johnny Griffin items with the exception of the intact, broad-rimmed hat on this piece versus the torn rim typically seen on all "named" Johnny...

Offered are a grouping of 11, circa 1920-30s, colorfully chromolithographed trade cards published by the Liebig Extract of Meat Company of London as well as a smattering of other French and Belgian producers of sweets and clothing for men and women.

"Picture cards" as they were called then, feature very colorful and highly detailed images on the front side with product advertising generally on the back side...
