A vintage, circa early 1930's original photograph of early screen actress and Hollywood socialite Marion Davies (1897-1961), bearing the embossed stamp of the photographer at right lower corner, and a stamp from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer on reverse. The piece measures 12 1/2" by 9 1/2" inside the red mat and 21" by 17" framed. Bull was a prominent portrait and still photographer with the Hollywood studios, head of MGM's stills department for 40 years...

Very nice original set of Applause Beatles Rag Dolls. They all have their original tags on, three have their Guitars and I believe that Ringo may be missing his Drum sticks. Made in 1987. They measure approx 23" in height.

Early circa 1915 painting of a race car and be-goggled driver, painted on paper or thin canvas, subsequently laid on board. An old framer's blue label suggests that the artwork spent some time in Rugby, England, but, the painting is laid on a modern day board, much newer than that outer backing would suggest...

A beautiful silver compact with the exterior sides inlaid with natural organic material. Opening this gem reveals a mirror and a heavily filigreed lid to the interior compartment which contains powder and a puff. Superbly crafted and with no damage or restoration, the compact measures 3 1/4" by 2 7/8", and is 1/2" thick.

Dramatic clip chandelier earrings in goldtone metal with glass drops, glass cabochons, and Swarovski crystal stones. Marked CHRISTIAN LACROIX JEWELRY and CL in script. Circa 1990. Designed in the barbaric/medieval style first made popular by Chanel. The colors are more beautiful and richer than the photos depict. Christian Lacroix began his career at the house of Jean Patou and has his own couture label since the late 1980s.

This 2-1/2 x 1-7/8" purse is undecorated, it has a snap-catch and a 7-1/2" link chain; it has a WH & Co. in a heart maker's mark and it is in excellent original condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than two shallow dents on one side and the later insertion of some purple velvet on the inside...

A vintage framed advertising picture extolling Grand Marnier. This 18-3/4 x 12-3/4" picture is in a shadowbox style frame with a Marnier bottle on an orange on the left side and a drinking couple with orange on the other on a printed background. This poster is cased with a reverse printed glass windowwith clouds and the Marnier slogan. The space between the print and glass gives a three dimensional effect to the ad. The text says PRODUCT OF FRANCE. MADE WITH FINE COGNAC BRANDY 80 PROOF...

This stylish basket weave purse was quite the rage during the 1950s when Dorset Rex marketed this patented purse during the Eisenhower years. The patent was actually issued in late 1949, after which a wide range of purses entered the market. The Dorset Rex tag tells us that the purse was made after 1951, thus we date it c. 1955.

This purse is gold with reddish-brown, possibly deep mauve, lucite top which closes with an S-hooked clasp. The horse shoe handle rotates freely on pins...

A classic 9" by 7" black and white photo of George Burns holding a cigar, an impish grin on his face, inscribed in yellow (or ink that has faded to yellow) "Best, George Burns" at lower left. Burns (1896-1996) was an American actor, singer, and writer whose career in entertainment spanned many, many decades. With the passage of time, the photo has stuck to the glass at upper right and I am afraid to try to remove it. In a simple inexpensive frame.
