A motorcycle & sidecar tintype circa 1905 with a historic view. This scarce, very early photograph is on a late tintype (photo on treated metal blank) and this 2-3/8 x 1-5/8" (view area) image consists of a young motorcycle rider astride the bike with a rather concerned-looking grandma in the sidecar. Three other ladies stand behind her, and there is an Edmonson's Red Seal Toffee pail in the middle of the road (road hazards were a little different in those days...)...

A framed PAIR of hand-colored vintage early 20th century photographs of the scenic Pikes Peak area of Colorado, one titled in pencil in margin "Rainbow Falls Manitou, Colo." and the other "A Glimpse of Pikes Peak--Colo.", both pencil signed "Photo-Craft" at lower right margin. Measurements are 9 1/2" by 4 3/4" (photos) and 17 1/2" by 13 1/2" in identical gold frames with green double mat. An oversize albumen photograph of a carriage on a narrow bridge with the rising spray from Niagara Falls visible in the distance. I am reasonably confident that this a bridge connecting Goat Island to the river bank on the American side or possibly a bridge connecting Goat Island to one of the Three Sisters. It was likely taken and printed by George Barker, though no title or name is on either the front of the image or on the back of the mount...

An original sepia-toned photograph of a middle aged man and his bicycle, with pencil note on the reverse side "Taken on Riverside Park/July 1898 by Sadie Coger", and again on black backing paper "My Dad taken/N New Jersey". The bicycle certainly seems to be quite an advanced model for its time, resembling strongly today's models. There is no glass, frame is simple strip wood, and photo is loose. Small framing nail penetrates wood of frame...

This vintage stanhope piece is a very rare find. It shows 6 historical landmarks of Northern Ireland, through the tiny peeper glass in the middle of its well-known, wild boar. The pictures and views, within the charm / pendant display 'A Memory of BALLYCASTLE:' GOLF LINKS, MURLOUGH BAY, ROPE BRIDGE CARRICK-a-REDE, MARINE ROAD and FAIR HEAD. The views great and clear. This stanhope measures 5/8" x 1/2" x 3/8" tall. It is in excellent condition.

Albumen photograph mounted on a card and titled in ink in script under it, “Bheel women grinding Bajri.” The Bhil are a large group of people from west India including Gujarat where pearl millet is called bijri. The photograph shows a group of men and women including a woman seated by a grinding stone posing for the photograph. The image is 7 5/8 x 9 3/8 inches (19.3 x 24 cm) and the card 11 x 14 inches (28 x 35,5 cm).

Condition: the image is in very good condition...

Two albumen photographs of the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Dualah at Agra, India. Neither is signed and though they are probably by different photographers they complement each other as one is a close up of the tomb while the other gives it some context in the surrounding garden.

The longer view is 8 5/8 (22 cm) by 11 3/8 (29 cm) inches with a card 14 (35.5 cm) by 17 (43 cm) inches...
