This is a Platinum & Diamonds Wristwatch from a Washington , DC Estate. The dial reads: Hamilton; however, as sometimes is the case the Original Movement has been replaced with an Elgin Jeweled Movement which is Running. The delicate ladies in waiting Japanese hina dolls for the Japanese Girl's Days in February. They are extremely beautiful with delicately detailed gofun (crushed shell with paste) faces and hands. The photos could not caputured it. Their face, hair, hands and costumes are superior to many other "Jyokan" dolls, obviously the work of first rated Kyoto made dolls. The standing dolls are 8 7/8" tall. One of the sleeves on the standing doll is soiled (enlargement 8)...

This hair comb and kogai hair pin set is probably from the Taisho to early Showa period, 1920 to 1945. Tortoiseshell. There is an artist signature on the hair pin. Please wear this with a half of signature on each side for better fitting -- see enlargement6. Other than that, it is in good condition.

This is a FINE IVORY CARVING of a JAPANESE MAN holding a BONSAI TREE. Every branch and twig of a BONSAI is shaped or ...BONSAI the art of dwarfing trees or plants. Size of this IVORY MAN is 4" X 1 3/8". Obvious IVORY Graining; ink designs front and back; signed on the bottom. Circa first 1/4 of the 20th Century from a Virginia Estate and in EXCELLENT Condition.

This is an unused, "New Old Stock", Pharmacy or Drug Store display from the 1940-1950's era. It is complete with 16 full boxes of "THRIOCAIN LOZENGES". The pink tablets are inside a plastic tube which was prepared for and labeled "James' Drug Co., New London, CT".

This diminutive size display measures 6.25" x 3.75" x 2" closed and is in very nice condition except for some unobtrusive ink scribbling appearing mostly on the top...

This cute size display measures 4.5" x 3.75" closed and is in very nice condition. The top lifts up to facilitate advertisement of the product and would have been placed on the counter top of a pharmacy in this fashion. A neat find!

Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the 8 1/4 inch plate in the crystal satin finish. Excellent condition, I have 4 available. (A) Antique large hand painted satsuma button figural ceramic earthenware with red, yellow, blue, green purple and gold paint. 33mm or 1.25" across. Odd shape self shank - see image 3.
(B) Smaller but just as beautifully and masterfully painted teal and lucky pale blue bamboo with gold outlines against a creamy slightly crazed convex background. 7/8" / 22mm...

This is one of a set of three French majolica plates, 20th century, two marked "P-V" and "France", the other incised "Made in France", all stamped "26947", molded in relief with grapes and grapevines in a central reserve; good coloration; Overall condition very good, one has small chip on rim base, no cracks or paint flakes; 8" diam.

This is a wonderful vintage glass cake plate made by Duncan and Miller for The Indiana Glass Company, ca 1940, in the Banana Fruits pattern, of clear and satin crystal glass, the fruit stained in soft shades of pink, blue, yellow and green, the underside molded in relief with fruit, gilt rim; wear to gilt; 14 _" diam.

Unusual pair of colorful Copeland vases. Some signs of wear, i.e., a small chip on the base of one and light scuff marks. 7" x 3 1/2"

Hefty highly ornate big bold wide cuff weighing 56 grams of silver with high relief designs. Signed or marked "SRS" and 800. Possibly from South America? Same one at other sites sold for more! Much chased Flower, Fruit, Leaves Scroll details with lots of rich darkening in the crevices that makes the almost punched out designs jump out.
Just under 2 Oz or 56 grams on postal scale. Just under 3" wide at center...

Very fine sterling silver trumpet vase with a ruby glass liner. The vase's body is intricately pierced in an acanthus leaf motif to show the rich red liner. The undulating flared rim lends a slight Art Nouveau feeling to the overall look. The base is marked for the Watson Co.

Origin: America, 1905-29. Condition: excellent, all original, no damage to glass; there are a couple of small dings to the underside of the flared lip (easier to feel with the fingertips than to see)...

Probably the most popular of all Steuben vases, this was designed in 1949 by George Thompson and is still being sold today. It measures 5" tall and is in perfect condition. It is Steuben number 7985. There are two of these vases, and the price show is for each one.
