Fleece-lined and hand-made using the old fashioned traditional Chinese methods, only the mid 20th century fabric of the lining and ears identify these shoes as a later made at a later time period. They were probably made by a dotting grandmother and were well worn by a young child.

An expertly hand carved dark salmon coral pin dating to the early part of the 20th century, 1920 - 1930s. Using the natural formation of the branch coral, the artist created a tree trunk with a chrysanthemum and 2 buds. In Chinese culture the chrysanthemum symbolizes long life, is one of the 4 Chinese seasonal flowers, and is often associated with nobility. In excellent condition, this rare beauty measures about 1.5" high.

This an excellent hand-carved contemporary netsuke of a standing Hotei carrying his bag over his right shoulder. In his left hand he holds a Ruyi Scepter. Signed Shodo on a rectangular reserve on the bottom of the netsuke. SHODO, the Go name of Hiroshi Asaoka, born in Tokyo in the year 1923 was a master of intricate detailed carvings, and quiet, serene designs, who studied under Shomin. Netsuke measures 1.40 inches (3.5cm) in diameter, and 2.0 inches (5.ocm) tall...

This is a really nice glass Rose top Dresser Box made by Anchor Hocking Glass. This Dresser Box Lid is ivory colored. The Bottom is a peach color. The Dresser Box measures 4 1/4 inches X 3 3/4 inches X 2 1/2 inches high. Both the Lid and Bottom are both in very good condition with no chips, crack or scratches. A large and beautiful pink glass bowl decorated with frosted lines and circles - the bowl was made by Schneider company of France around 1930. The large blown glass bowl (has a polished pontil) is 14 inches (35,5 cm) in diameter and is in excellent condition (there are some expected faint scratches on its bottom - see picture). It is signed, 'Schneider' on its foot. A similar bowl is listed on page 374 of 'Warman's Glass', 4th edition, 2002 (shown in last picture here for your convenience).
