Early handmade arts and crafts copper and mirror box designed and signed by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar. Meaures 6 1/2"L X 4 1/4"D X 2 1/4"H. Mirrors on 5 sides are in fine vintage condition with no cracks or chips. The copper has a beautiful untouched patina. Two corners on the base are slightly seperated which appear to be original to the handmaking of the piece. See pictures. Hinged mirror top opens to a copper interior. Insured shipping included within the U.S.

Small bottle-shape vase by Dean Mullavey (Canadian, born in New Hampshire, USA, in 1927), in excellent condition. This small stoneware bottle measures 4 1/4" in height. Incised signature and chop. It was created around 1960-1961 while the artist was a member of the Clay Art Center in Port Chester, NY (all information courtesy of the artist). From a North Carolina estate. I visited the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington DC a little more than a year ago and saw some really creative ceramics with leather incorporated into the composition among related, sculptural works. It did make a spontaneous and lasting impression that led me to recognize and purchase a wonderful and unusual work by the same hand found in an antiques and collectibles market.

Fenton Colonial Orange Daisey and Button 2.5" Hat Vase made in the early 1960's. In mint condition.

Cranberry 7.25" Syrup from the Victorian era. I can't tell you much about this other than it is old, probably from pre-1920's. It has a brass top and ground bottom.

Fostoria Baroque Duo Candlesticks with no etched pattern etched on them. Made from the early 1930's until they closed in the 1980's. They are 4.5 high and about 8" wide, in mint condition, sold as a pair.

A set of yoroi and kabuto for Boy's Day in Japan. The condition is almost new except the color (salmon pink) of strings is not so reddish (dull, faded color). There is a straight crack along the wood grain on the lid - did not show up well in the last photo. Total height is 30 1/2". The dimensions of wood box are 16 1/2" wide x 13" long x 12 3/4" high.

This later, stoutly potted porcelain hexagonal Ao-Kutani censer may be Meiji or as late as Taisho era. But the six biscuit panels with relief depictions of sages are noteworthy each with an associated animal from Chinese lore. Green yellow and red enameled decoration of blossoms and clouds. The cover with Shishi also in blue and aubergine (cover only fits one way.) Rims with chocolate brown glaze. All raised on six shaped feet. The bottom also unglazed biscuit...

A Gorham Sterling Silver Pierced BonBon Dish. Oval shaped, and from the 1940's. The dimensions are 8" x 5" x 2" and the weight is 4.5 Troy ounces. Excellent condition, no monogram.

This interesting circa 1920s walking stick has a carved pelican's head for a handle. In its beak, the bird is holding what looks like a melon. Handle measures are 4 inches. The bird has glass eyes and the head sits on top of a rosewood shaft 1/4 inch in diameter and a 1-1/4-inch ivory tip. Overall length of this stick is 35-1/2 inches.
