Two beautiful and very thinly potted bowls by Sven Hofverberg in his experimental studio in south Sweden. Shown is one of THREE(3) rare STERLING napkin rings by the famous German design company, WMF. Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik(WMF) was founded in 1853 and produced beautiful Jugendstil silver plate items. It is rare to find any WMF sterling silver. The napkin rings are signed: "WMF STERLING 925 GERMANY (sterling German hallmark) " and are in excellent condition. Of good size, they measure 1 3/4" high. Very beautiful design and probably made in the 1960's...

Woodblock print by Japanese artist Saito circa 1950-1960, published by Uchida Art Co. This print is of two young girls wearing very bright and beautiful kimonos in various shades of green, blue, yellow, pink, and red. One girl holds a fan while the other holds a small toy of a bird. A paper lantern hangs behind the head of the smaller girl. Both girls have precious, doll-like features. Size: 17.5" tall, 30cm wide

Fenton made Black Rose for a little over one year from 1953-54. This 4" squat vase is in mint condition. All of Black Rose is considered rare.

Sterling toothpick holder by George Shiebler, Brooklyn, c.1890. Has floral applied silver decoration around bottom. Made of heavy gauge silver and measures 1 3/4" high by 1 3/4" wide. It is signed "wings-with-S STERLING 5235 H.S.&CO.". It is in excellent condition except that the top rim is not completely round any longer.....$9 for insured USA shipping. Two interesting German Art Déco pieces from Carstens Uffrecht: interwar period design from around 1930, a small dish/ ashtray and a larger dish. Orange and blue geometric decoration against a mottled white ground, both on supports of distinct, sculptural shape. Raised factory mark and painter's signature. Diameter "8/ 20 cm, width of smaller dish "6/ 15 cm. Condition: restored chip to rim on the larger dish at 10 o’clock.

This Roseville 'Donatello" 9 13/16" interior rim,11 3/4" diameter low bowl was made in 1915. See picture for closeup of factory flaw. Otherwise, perfect

This pattern was product of Harry W. Rhead, and was Roseville's first major success.It has a band cherubs in a wide variety of scenes separated by trees on a light brown background. Several rows of white piping are used to emphasize the rim, base and the band of cherubs. unmarked!

I've seen this piece as high as $295.00.

The sophisticated designer arrangement of murrine in this paperweight is notable. The leaf murrine can be found in other Toso paperweights. The green center of the flower murrine is nicely tied in to the leaf motif. The murrine are cased in crystal and this lattice type layer of murrine gives the weight a nice airy quality. Measuring 3.75 dia. x 2.75"h., the paperweight is in excellent condition, unmarked.

Vase from the "Finlandia" series by Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala, Finland, 1965-69. Of tree trunk shape, the glass a very light green, watery shade.The irregular surface was created by the charred wooden moulds used for the Finlandia collection. The vase still retains its Iittala label and the polished base is signed Timo Sarpaneva 7362. Height "6/15 cm, diameter "4/ 10,2 cm. Condition: a few nicks to the sharply cut rim (cf. at 10 and 2 o’clock on pic.5)

A black and silver metal mesh evening bag from the 1930's, Zig-Zag pattern, probably French. It locks with a chain and a transparent glass bead. Ring-shaped plastic handle. Length "8¾/ 22 cm. Condition: fine.

Pair of finely detailed and colored, heavy, original painted cast iron bookends. They feature a log cabin with a red roof, surrounded by a forest of tall trees and shrubs beneath a full moon in a midnight blue sky. The casting is high quality with the trees and cabin in relief. The colors are original in red, green, blue, gold, brown, and white. Each bookend stands 6 1/4" (15.9 cm) tall, 4 1/2" (11.4 cm) wide, 2" (5 cm) deep and weighs 2 lbs. 4 oz. Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Originally produced in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. These 4 1/2 inch berry bowls are very special...

Set of 6 large 800 silver teaspoons from Roumania, c.1937. Sleek clean modernist design, they each measure 5 9/16" long and there is a slight gold wash inside the bowl. Each squared off bowl measures 1 3/4" long by 1 3/16" wide. They are each signed "R(in circle for Roumania)CROWN A(in soft triangle for .800 silver, 1937)" on the back with two other hallmarks in the bowl, that are hard to decipher. Very good condition but could use polishing...
