The 1920's and 30's was the age of the cocktail party, and the jewelry was characterized by vivid colors and sparkling diamonds. Cuban influences helped guide art deco design toward strong rectilinear geometry. This diamond ring is classic art deco. It is almost a full inch long and .5 inches deep at its widest. The platinum band has engraving.

A 2-1/4" tall vintage sterling silver baby mug. This mug is stamped STERLING 970 (possibly the model number), and it weighs 54 grams. This item has a SIMONE monogram, and it is in excellent condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor denting around the bottom rim. The Crinkle pattern was produced by Morgantown glass company in the late 1930's and into the 1960's. This is the 6 1/2 inch high juice or martini pitcher. The style is called 'Tijuana' and it holds 34 oz. Perfect condition, see my other listings for more Crinkle items in different colors.
