Wonderful size and design, this mid century modernist tile is by Sylvia Leuchovius (Sweden 1915-2003) for Rorstrand Ceramic company, where she created numerous whimsical and creative objects from functional and industrial to art objects. Measures 11 3/8" square and 1/2" deep. Sylvia designed for the Atelje line at Rorstrand, during the production of fine Swedish design for the modern taste, and most objects were made in limited numbers. A very cheerful and colorful ceramic paneled vase decorated in the Merrie England motif by Newhall Pottery in England, dating to around 1930. The scenery depicts a castle with beefeater guards from Tudor England. The vivid, warm earth tones make you want to go outside for sunshine.

Fine LARGE Glazed Stoneware Studio Pottery Jar - Malcolm Pepper

This large and impressive stoneware jar was made by Malcolm Pepper (1937 - 1980) during the 1970s. It is "heavily-potted" and attractively decorated. Looking inside shows it was thrown in two sections, luted together at the widest part of the body. The outer surface coated in a finely-crackled transparent glaze that has a hint of green. The inner surface coated in a dark iron glaze.

It is superbly hand decorated and measures 10" in diameter. It dates to c1950's and has "Made In China" on the base.

Gorgeous Crown Staffordshire Pr. Porcelain Candle Holders c1950's A PAIR OF CROWN STAFFORDSHIRE CANDLE HOLDERS c1950'S These Royal Crown Staffordshire candle holders are in very good condition, one with a hairline crack at its top which is on the inside of the holder only. They measure 5" in height.

This porcelain demitasse cup, saucer and plate was produced in German by Meissen between 1924 and the 1930s. The plate measures 6 1/4 inches in diameter and the saucer is 4 1/4 inches in diameter and 1 inch deep. The cup is 2 inches high with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches. The cup has the traditional pointed edges on the rim and a twisted branch handle. Each piece has sprays of hand painted flowers. They are realistic and very colorful...

Large (23" in diameter) table or wall charger by Wally Mason (American, born 1952). This impressive ceramic work is made of terracotta with slip decoration and shard inclusions. Fully signed verso. In excellent condition.

Large, signed vase from the 1980s by Raymond Gallucci (USA, PA, 1923-2005). 10 1/2" tall. 7" across. Works by this artist are in the collections of the Smithsonian, the Philadelphia Museum of art, and the Michener Museum.

Decorative paté jar, the lid of which is topped by a reclining, sleepy duck. Made around 1920 by Heubach, an old family business in Thuringia, Germany. Octagonal and hand painted with panels of stylized roses. In all, the design is between Art Nouveau / Jugendstil and Art Déco. With the printed Heubach Kunst Porzellan mark in use from 1910 to 1945, and impressed model number 10828. Height with the duck "4 ¼ / 11 cm and diameter "4 ¾ / 12 cm. Condition: fine.

A Pair of Rorstrand Blue and White Porcelain Mugs, featuring a Lion and Crowns. Swedish (20th century). Size 0.5 liter; dimensions 6.25" high x 3.75".

This is a 19th century Chinese shallow curved plate featuring a lively grouping of eight spotted blue and white horses, depicting a wedding story from Chinese mythology; unglazed footrim; greige coloration; a four-character mark on the underside; condition: several minor chips on the rim; SIZE: 5" diam.

Pretty porcelain vase handpainted in soft shades of blue and green over a gently shaded blue background. The porcelain is of the finest quality and the glaze is impeccable. The bottom is marked with the green stamp with the date mark for 1961. The bottom also has the artist’s lowercase initials “SY” and the pattern number “2679/295”.

Origin: Denmark, 1961. Condition: mint. Size: 7-1/2” tall.

Rare Royal Winton Chintz pitcher & bowl set in excellent condition; can't find exact pattern in book, but its right and early. Basic flowers are pink roses with yellow roses and small blue flowers and green leaves with black dots in background and black lines between panels. Pitcher stands 12 1/2" tall x 11" wide. It has four cream color panels and two chintz panels. The bowl measures 17" across and is 5 3/8" deep. It has five plain panels, and five chintz panels...

Beautifully handpainted Victorian French charger decorated with birds, flowers, insects and fish. The coloring as well as the quality of the painting is wonderful. In lovely original condition, it measures 17 1/2" in diameter. Impressed on the back Montereau B & Cie with the number 45.
