Vase by Danish manufacturer Hjorth, c 1920-30. Grey stoneware, decoration of Art Déco scroll work in “flow” copper red under beautifully crackled glaze. Probably by Hans Hjorth. The Hjorth Terracotta Factory, now part of the Bornholm museum, is still working in the same premises where it was founded in the 19th century, still using the same equipment. Two beautiful and very thinly potted bowls by Sven Hofverberg in his experimental studio in south Sweden. One gold glazed to the interior, the other with an iridescent interior glaze in red and dark blue. The exterior of both with incised striations. The incisions of the smaller bowl are iridescent. Candle holder or small vase by Liisa Hallamaa for Arabia, stoneware, the upper part with eruptive glaze effects. In 1950 LA joined the Arabia company, where she became a great experimenter and innovator of glazes before opening up a studio of her own in 1971. Signed LH Arabia. Here is a truly exquisite vase by the masters Erich and Ingrid Triller. The glaze is an intense blue. On the underside is painted Tobo Triller. This stunning piece of stonweare art measures 8 1/2" (21cm) high and is 5" (12.5cm) in diameter. The vase is far more beautiful and intense than the pictures suggest.
Generous redware teapot by Dybdahl, Denmark, 1960’s. The inside, the spout and handle, rim and lid with a smooth transparent glaze, the rest unglazed. Impressed, stamped decoration of little masks or stylized sun faces. In the studio of Palle and Margrethe Dybdahl Margrethe did the wheel throwing and the decorations and Palle the glazes. The teapot takes 1.2 litres and pours well. Width spout to handle "10 / 26 cm. Condition: some roughness around the spout.
A Danish stoneware jar by Per Linneman Schmidt for Palshus, 1960's. Cylindrical, the interior glazed in a speckled grey and brown, the exterior with a dark brown glaze, leaving some stripes and the horizontal border unglazed. Diameter "5¾/ 14,5 cm, height "3¼/ 8 cm. Incised marks Palshus, Denmark, PLS, 403 and painted D. Condition: fine.
Here is a superb example of Wilhelm Kage's celebrated Argenta series produced for Gustavsberg, Sweden. All the silver decoration is completely intact, which is rare for a piece created in 1949. See photo for markings. Perfect in every way.

On the underside is incised Kåge, Gustavsberg, the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia, and the date code Z. This magnificent vessel was created in 1955. Mint condition.

This very large Faience vase designed by Stig Lindberg measures 15 1/4" (39cm) tall. On the underside is impressed Hand Drejad (hand thrown) and the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia. Painted in blue is Sweden, the number 121-T-621, and the Gustavsberg hand insignia. The artist who painted this piece is Franca Pugno, whose symbol of an x in a box is painted in red. This piece is featured on page 6 of the Faience brochure published by Gustavsberg. Mint condition.
